This is cheaper option for those wanting to visit Amalfi and not pay a fortune for a room. It's pretty basic but the owners are lovely, it's located 2 mins from the coast with good bus links nearby, lovely little square just round the corner . We stayed in a private double room and like I said, facilities are pretty... More

easy-going, cheaper than any other option around, friendly, helpful owners, perfect situated very close to Amalfi (5-10 min. walk) in the less tourist-crowded (and nicer) village of Atrani and ideal for either swimming at the beach in front or hiking in the beautiful valley behind. you'll become a part of the village after few days.

I spent 4 nights in the Amalfi coast with my boyfriend and we chose Atrani as our base, as we wanted a less touristic place than Amalfi to stay in. I loved staying in Atrani, the village is beautiful and full of life! The owners of A Scalinatella are extremely nice and kind. However, the room we stayed in was... More

The good things are: -Good prices -Friendly people -Good breakfast -Good location Improvent can be achieved at: -Wlan only at the Breakfastroom witch is 100m away from the hostel -the bathroom in our private room was very small and very old However I can recomend this... The owners are very accommodating and speak good English. They even packed us a to-go breakfast when we had an early ferry from Amalfi. The town and the hostel itself is very safe with each room having its own lock. Atrani is a simple, easy 10 minute walk to Amalfi, but Atrani is not very touristy at all. The town... More

Scalinatella was a great choice. Excellent experience. Tasty breakfast . Felipo and Gabrille are friendly and helpful host. Great place to meet interesting, young and friendly people. Easy access to other beaches on the Amalfi Coast. The neighbors are very friendly and cordial. It was a great experience. I recommend!

Very nice hostel located really near the beach! Host man was very hospitable helped us to find the cheapest parking. Room was modest but with all necessary stuff in it. Breakfast was good with free additional cups of coffee:)) Only minus is that wifi is working only in common breakfast area. Only one thing you need to know that hostel... More

Had a great stay. We booked a private room with two beds. It was clean and comfy with a balcony. Clean linens and big towels. Felipe And his brother Gabriel were fantastic and super helpful. The breakfast was great with made to order coffee drinks and a nice tea selection. It's definitely italian style (meaning sweet things). It's proximity to... More

Of all my years travelling this place is the worst hostel I have stayed at. Right from the start I was not impressed. The bathroom was rubbish with the shower and toilet not having a curtain to separate the two, no holder for the shower head so water went everywhere. The bed was damp but I was given two sheets...
