My family and I stayed here for 4 nights and we really enjoyed this B&B. First of all the views are stunning and all rooms have a view. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast on the top terrace was yummy with great variety. The host Carmela is super friendly and willing to help with... More

Carmela received our family of four for two nights at a spacious suite in her lovely property. We had great breakfast prepared by Carmela and her husband every morning at the roof top terrace, where we had the most wonderful view of the beach and harbour! Carmela was great in providing information in every way and she even helped to... More

Our group of four had an absolutely fantastic experience here!! Carmela is such a wonderful host and puts out a wonderful breakfast on the rooftop terrace with the help of her friendly husband Jeremiah who made us cappuccino daily! The rooms were spotless with brand new amenities and the location is the perfect distance from the crowded center. Would re-visit... More

This was an outstanding B&B - Carmela was extremely helpful and incredibly welcoming, with lots of tips of where to go and eat. The room was of a good size with a lovely sea view. Breakfast was fresh with croissants, fruit, homemade cake and delicious cappuccino A short walk into town (6-7 minutes) with lots of excellent restaurants and a... More

Having just stayed in sorrento and positano in cheaper b&b's I expected great things from amalfi's 2nd highest rated b&b but I was wrong. The room was ok however the breakfast was poor. The b&b owner clearly couldn't cope with preparing breakfast for the number of guests (9 in the whole b&b) and breakfast was always a very slow service.... More

The hotel, the service, the view, the food and Carmela - AWESOME!! We can't say enough good things about our recent stay at Il Porticciolo in Amalfi. Carmela was gracious well before our arrival, directing us to the hotel and providing us with various transportation options in reaching Amalfi. As it turned out, we arrived quite late and Carmela greeted... More

Amalfi is magnificent and Il Porticciolo was a wonderful B&B with everything you would want or need. It is clean, comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. Our view from the room and the rooftop terrace was breathtaking. Carmela was so very helpful from the moment we contacted her online until the time we departed; she is charming, caring, and willing... More

We stayed at Il Porticciolo for a week this summer, and it was the most relaxed and enjoyable stay. Carmela was a friendly and generous host, and was wealth of knowledge about the local area. The room was spotlessly clean and well appointed. We stayed in the Maestrale room, which was more than adequate for a couple. Breakfast on the... More
