Very easy, central location . Some rooms have great sea views with small terraces (eg: room 57) Parking arrangement at hotel desk for 18€/day. Entrance right in from of beautiful Duomo and main piazza. Rooms are simple but clean and not especially attractive. Aircon/TV + helpful receptionist. Basic breakfast.

Overall good value for what you pay. Room large with balcony, nice enough bathroom. Noisy but I guess this goes with the territory and when you close the French doors noise level drops. Location: our private car dropped us off at the sea front and we had to walk through the Piazza through to the hotel with out luggage and... More

We have stayed at the Lidomare many times over the years. We really like it there as the proprietor is very welcoming and his staff are so kind and helpful. The rooms are extremely clean and tidy whilst the breakfast is quite adequate and served promptly. We have stayed in other similarly priced hotels in Amalfi but this one is... More

Tripadvisor has always been my go to place for all my research prior to any stay at any hotel, B&B etc... and it has always been true and honest. In this scenario trip advisor reviews of the past failed me miserably, the hotel location is great, the front desk guy is very very polite, however the room and the bathroom,... More

Stayed in July 2014. Adequate breakfasts, clean rooms, great views. Situated near the central piazza, the Cathedral bells were our alarm clock. Italian hustle and bustle noise was charming. Loved it! The steps up to the hotel could sometimes be daunting, especially as it was very hot during our stay, but the air conditioning in the rooms rectified that. Staff... More

For the price this seafront hotel is a great bet. We stayed in a triple room, which was big enough to accommodate 2 adults and 2 children. But the toilet was so small...really impossible to navigate inside!!! The best part was the view from the balcony....awesome seascape...the noise from the streets below...the honking buses and milling tourists was there of... More

Stayed here recently. Good price, for a nice clean room with a balcony with a view of the Tyrrhennian Sea (true, the piazza where the buses come and go was out there too, but the bus noise stopped at ten or eleven pm). The owner of this place a true gentleman. Calm, friendly and helpful. Great location, charming host and... More

I know it's all down to individual experience but what a lovely stay we had. Yes I know there are a few steps to deal with so if you are not so mobile it will be a problem. However, having such a central position means you can't have everything. Staff were all friendly and it helped to try and speak... More

An enchanting small hotel with an excellent relation quality-price in a perfect location, one hundred meters from San Andrea Cathedral and the buses terminal. It is not an expensive "hotel de charme", but it is a charming place. A kind and competent staff.

We felt very welcomed in Lidomare, a mansion overlooking the sea and the central square, several steps up from Duomo. We were amazed by the spacious room and jacuzzi in the bathroom as well as comfy bed. The hotel was so attentive they called us when we were late to arrive due to traffic jam and missing public bus. They... More
