Stayed in July 2014. Adequate breakfasts, clean rooms, great views. Situated near the central piazza, the Cathedral bells were our alarm clock. Italian hustle and bustle noise was charming. Loved it! The steps up to the hotel could sometimes be daunting, especially as it was very hot during our stay, but the air conditioning in the rooms rectified that. Staff... More

For the price this seafront hotel is a great bet. We stayed in a triple room, which was big enough to accommodate 2 adults and 2 children. But the toilet was so small...really impossible to navigate inside!!! The best part was the view from the balcony....awesome seascape...the noise from the streets below...the honking buses and milling tourists was there of... More

Stayed here recently. Good price, for a nice clean room with a balcony with a view of the Tyrrhennian Sea (true, the piazza where the buses come and go was out there too, but the bus noise stopped at ten or eleven pm). The owner of this place a true gentleman. Calm, friendly and helpful. Great location, charming host and... More

I know it's all down to individual experience but what a lovely stay we had. Yes I know there are a few steps to deal with so if you are not so mobile it will be a problem. However, having such a central position means you can't have everything. Staff were all friendly and it helped to try and speak... More

An enchanting small hotel with an excellent relation quality-price in a perfect location, one hundred meters from San Andrea Cathedral and the buses terminal. It is not an expensive "hotel de charme", but it is a charming place. A kind and competent staff.

We felt very welcomed in Lidomare, a mansion overlooking the sea and the central square, several steps up from Duomo. We were amazed by the spacious room and jacuzzi in the bathroom as well as comfy bed. The hotel was so attentive they called us when we were late to arrive due to traffic jam and missing public bus. They... More

We stayed at this hotel for a few nights. The location is great - it is close to the Duomo, and the bus station and port. It is a simple place, the beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean. The facilities are basic; the quality of the breakfast reflects the room rate. It is at the top of a flight... More

Me and my parents stayed at this hotel in the summer during our 1 month travel throughout Italy. Upon arriving at the hotel, I called the front desk and the owner of the hotel is also is front desk operator, in order to let them know that we arrived and that we needed a place to leave our car. He... More

Hotel Lindomare was exactly of the kind we were looking for. The most important factor in a hotel is as per me are the people rest is hardware. They set the mood and wibes. Best thing about Lindomare are the people, especially the landlady. The landlady is very sweet and caring. With her limited English she made us feel welcome.... More

First of all, note to other reviewers: Amalfi is on the Tyrrhenian Sea, not the Adriatic Sea. Secondly, I have to say this was probably the most memorable place we stayed at during our 3+ weeks in Italy. The room was spacious and had a definite old-fashioned feel--some people might say unappealingly shabby but to me, the down-at-heel atmosphere had... More
