The hotel is ideally located close to the main square where the buses stop and the ferry dock. it is a easy 5 minute walk to the hotel. The staff is very friendly and take the time to provide plenty of information regarding restaurants, activities, hiking trails, etc. It is a small hotel which has a nice B&B feel to... More

My wife and I loved this place. It is pretty low key, but VERY clean with great views of the harbor/sea. We considered it a good value for all the nice amenities. The breakfast on the veranda was wonderful and the staff excellent. Some of the reviews have downgraded it because it is a little distance to Amalfi center city.... More

If you are staying in Amalfi, there can be no better option than Hotel Aurora. The rooms were large and the balcony huge - not that you want to spend too much time in your room in beautiful Amalfi. I require cleanliness, quiet and a nice view if possible. Reasonably priced also, per favore. We got all of these in... More

We chose Hotel Aurora for its location and because of the good reviews. We weren't disappointed - it is a lovely old building in a quiet location at the end of the marina, but just an easy 10 minute (level) stroll to the town centre. The staff are all friendly and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We had... More

This is a nice little hotel, great location away from hustle and bustle of Amalfi but all restaurants etc only a short walk away. Some restaurants will offer discounts for hotel guests so ask at reception. Recommend sea view room and sleep to the sound of the sea - so relaxing and lovely views to enjoy. Rooms comfortable, not luxurious... More

We booked for 10 nights B & B on a 'walking package', this included a local lemon grove tour, a 'panoramic' dinner ( we were intrigued with this...) and walking maps/advice. Arrived 1 am from Naples to a friendly reception after a 1 1/2 hour taxi ride (shame it was dark as it was my first time to this coastline).... More

We stayed here as a couple in August. The hotel is excellently located close to the center of Amalfi. All main attractions are in walking distance. The staff is excellent and very helpful. Parking is offered by the hotel, which is quite an advantage in Amalfi given the parking fees. Breakfast is cheap with 10 EUR pP and somehow at... More

There are few hotels on the beach in Amalfi. When people make reservations at hotels they have no idea how many steps they have to climb to get there. Believe me, the views are amazing but when you wish go to the town, how do you do it?...walk (road is very steep and motor bikes can be scary) or cabs.... More
