We got off a bus in the square, and straight away saw a signpost for the hotel which was great after 5 hours travelling on trains and buses. Yes as everyone has said the steps are a trek especially with heavy luggage. There are no alternatives so just grin and bear it. We received a warm welcome on arrival, the... More

A very nice clean, well run hotel. Slap bang in the centre of Amalfi. They serve an excellent breakfast on a lovely balcony overlooking the coast. But watch the steps getting up to the hotel, there are a lot of them and not suited for the sick, infirm of un-fit!

The location of this hotel is simply perfect. It does require a hike up a lengthy stair case, but the view from atop makes it worth it. My biggest complaint with this hotel had to do with customer service. When we checked in, the front desk staff was very helpful and spoke fair English. However, once her shift ended, we... More

I'll start with the positives: This was a nice hotel with good views (which we paid extra for). The staff were friendly and helped us with luggage. The views form the outdoor area for breakfast were great and provided and unobstructed view of the bay of Naples (where we got to see spectacular fireworks or St Anothony's day) OK so... More

A very nice hotel and location. Many stairs to climb, but worth it. Nice and pleasant atmosphere, more of a home. Plain and unique. Welcome was nice and helpful. We stayed an extra night, which can show our satisfaction. Recommended highly.

Cannot speak too highly of this great little boutique hotel or its staff. Stayed 6 nights in September 2013. A little tricky to find initially and there were quite a few steep steps for 2 tired hot travellers to negotiate with the suitcases - suggest arange for porter - but very friendly and efficient welcome. Room just off reception area... More

We stayed 4 nights in Sep '13, and were unfortunately a bit let down. Upon check in, the hotel manager was lovely and welcoming and told us to ask her if we had any questions at all as she was happy to help. The next day I had some questions about Amalfi etc, so I asked a few questions. From... More

Comfortable, spacious, friendly and helpful. Beautifully appointed rooms, views. Oh, and a breakfast well worth waking up for. All very Amalfi - just remember there are steps. Quite a few. Especially with luggage.

We stayed at this hotel during the height of summer and the price per night for the rooms were very well priced considering. Our room had a beautiful view to the sea which was lovely to wake up to each morning. The room was very clean and spacious and the bathroom was so big and new! We were very surprised... More

We loved this little hotel, it was perfect for our 5 night stay. There are steps up to the hotel, but we thought it actually added to the charm. Amalfi is full of steps, and it seems fitting to climb some. Our room was spacious, the bathroom large, and the views lovely. The terrace for breakfast, or a drinking the... More
