Amalfi is so small that "location" is practically not applicable, but if we're talking views then this hotel is amazing! It's on the 3rd (maybe 4th) floor of a building right next to the highway, wedged between the "town" (basically the plaza with the duomo) and the wharf, so from the balcony on which breakfast is served you have a... This place was not expensive and it was right next to good restaurants, shops and front row to the beautiful sea! Our room was very clean, quiet during the night and with an amazing view from the french balcony. The hotel also have a great terrasse and a very friendly staff. It has 3 stars and are cheap, because it's... More

I am always fair and look for all the positives in my reviews however we feel the owners of this property need an honest review to complete the much needed work to bring this property up to standard required for basic accommodation. On arrival, entrance door off a main road with no pavement. Up 6 flights of shared stairs with... More

This hotel is amazing! Cannot get any more of a perfect location and stunning views although a little hard to find, and forget taking large luggage bags up the stairs my recommendation is to store bags at local tourist office and take small bag. The most spectacular views, clean rooms with everything you need but most of all amazing Maria... More

The views from my single room and from the common area terrace where I had breakfast looked over Amalfi's port and sea. Beautiful!! Breakfast was good, even with bruschetta with local mozzarella cheese, tomatoes & basil. This hotel is for more independent travelers since nobody is there except at breakfast time. Staff were very helpful, especially in recommending a good... More

We arrived late at night by bus from Salerno. As people mentioned the entrance is right in a road tunnel so can be a bit daunting but we had no trouble finding it as I had google street viewed it prior to our visit - like any prepared traveller would! lots of steps and not lift so for elderly may... This hotel was fantastic. My husband and I stayed here for nearly a week and we couldn't have asked for a better place. The staff was friendly, the room was comfortable, and oh, those views! There is truly nothing like staring out your balcony out to the Mediterranean. We were even lucky enough to catch a thunderstorm one night, and... More

I was very pleasantly surprised by Holidays Baia D'Amalfi. My husband and I spent two nights there in the middle of May 2014. It was very quiet and charming, though there is a bit of wear showing in the furniture. The hotel is located essentially right on the water next to the bus depot, although finding the door can be... We just returned from a wonderful trip to Amalfi. One of the main reasons it was great was due to this hotel, Holidays Baia D'Amalfi. My wife and I spent 4 days there, and had virtually no problems. As with any hotel, there are pluses and minuses, so I'll get them out of the way. First, remember, generally most of... More

Ok let's start with a couple of warnings, the hotel isn't the easiest to find as the entrance door is actually inside a busy road tunnel. Then there are the three floors with giant steps to conquer and there is no lift. But when you step out on the balcony or sip your limoncello on the breakfast area overlooking Amalfi... More
