We stayed for three nights around our 25th wedding anniversary in this former convent. which gives it real character. The hotel organised collection by car from Salerno railway station which was organised by email in advance of our stay. I requested flowers for the room and some Prosecco. The flowers were magnificent and the wine was offered as a gift... More

Be careful which room you end up with and you'll be in for a treat at this hotel. The pictures I've seen don't do it justice. We were first given a very bad room (room 1 - avoid at all cost) but we complained and without any argument they gave us a new room which was a lot nicer. The... More

We stayed for a week and had a room on the second floor with a very large balcony and sun shading. It was very comfortable with a tiny but perfectly formed bathroom. The shower was powerful and the bath useable. We ate at the tower restaurant one evening and it was excellent. Accomplished cooking and excellent service. The restaurant in... More

So when you're looking to stay in Amalfi, there are many places to stay from small to large, from quaint to luxury. Luna Convento was both for us! We went on our honeymoon and stayed five days five nights. It was FANTASTIC! The staff was very helpful, accommodating and kind. The room we stayed in was gorgeous!!!! We had A... More

We stayed here in October 2014 as part of the end of our Honeymoon and, to be honest, were somewhat underwhelmed. It's still a great hotel, but I think we had high expectations going in So first, the not so good... Poor Internet connection - sure we were on our honeymoon, but this was key for researching restaurants and planning... More

Great old hotel overlooking they and a very short walk to the town. Rooms very comfortable - go for a superior room with balcony and view if you intend to spend time in the room. Finishes older as was an old monastery. Has one of the best pools in town over the road down steps and next to the ocean... More

This hotel restaurant is across the road from the hotel, sitting on the point between Amafi and Atrani in an historic roman lookout tower. The views are so spectacular in day and night that you'll want to stay for hours and just linger with your wine. We stayed in Amalfi for 11 days and this restaurant was so delightful we... More

We stayed at Hotel Luna on a recommendation from some family, and are so glad we did. It is an older hotel - e.g., the bathrooms are dated, as are some furnishings - but everything works and is comfortable. What is more - the location is great (5 minute walk into Amalfi), service fabulous, and all rooms overlook the sea.... More

Lovely hotel staffed by warm and friendly people. It's an old convent so each room is different and uniquely decorated. We enjoyed our stay of four nights. The hotel is situated beautifully at the harbor's edge with lovely views of the rising coastline and a beautiful center highlighted by the exceptional 9th-12 century Duomo. Take in the village scene from... More

We stayed six nights at Hotel Luna Convento and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff did everything possible make us feel welcome and attended to our every need. The building is located just a few minutes walk from the centre of Amalfi and provides stunning views over the ocean from the guest rooms and restaurant. The swimming pool by the... More
