This hotel is about location and architectural details. It was built from a 12th century convent, they kept part of it, including the Alley of the monks which is a long alley surrounded by flowers and lemons and it will get you to the infinity pool. It is amazing and they just kept it the same as you can see... More

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights in Early October. In short, the place is a gem. I’m not sure I agree with its 5 star ranking but it was one of my most enjoyable hotel experiences in Italy. The hotel is a converted 12th century convent done over in modernist style. It’s a bit overdone for my... More

Stayed in this hotel in July 2011 and had the most amazing time. I was really glad I chose this hotel as when we arrived in Amalfi I realized I'd be very disapointed if I chose one of the other hotels, as they don't look impressive at all. This hotel is absolutely beautiful architecture wise and blended in surrondings. The... More

We had a wonderful stay here. Used it as a base to travel all of Amalfi coast. Wonderful staff and hotel. Breakfast was excellent also. More

I spent some time back in June 2011. The hotel has a great location in terms of view of Amalfi town and its coast but that is all. The restaurant & the hotel staff has not yet been trained to work for a 5 stars hotel. Considering the hotel access we had to struggle to bring our luggage to the... More

Stayed here for a week at the end of September: •Overall - beautifully refurbished convent converted into a very classy modern and charming hotel – worth to spend a week, just for the view •Location - stunning position with fabulous view of the gulf and Amalfi - apparently difficult parking but staff very helpful and caring for your car when... My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights at the end of our European adventure. As we were on a holiday and not travelling we picked nice hotels to stay in for the whole trip. This hotel was easily the best hotel we stayed in. We arrived early after driving from Naples (not for the faint hearted) and we... More

This hotel has undergone a very modern renovation. The decoration and the furniture is white. All rooms have a marvellous sea view and the infinity pool, although quite small, is a lovely place to relax by. Breakfast is OK and was inclusive. The evening meal was served on the restaurant veranda and we had marvellous nighttime views of Amalfi. The... More

Great hotel, we absolutely loved it. Spent most of our time by the pool with the fantastic view. Our friends come down from positano and to visit us and they cancelled their next location to stay here. It's just beautiful. Unfortunately I misplaced/lost my wedding ring the day we checked out and I still havent heard back from the hotel.... More

This is one of the finest hotel experiences we've ever had, but to be honest, that was partially because we got a discounted upgrade to a suite. I'm sure we would have liked the original room we purchased, but it was hard not to be blown away by the suite. We got commanding views of the Amalfi coast, and an... More
