I am a HIlton Honors Diamond member for over 10 years in a row. I truly like the Hilton Family Hotels! We are travelling through Italy staying only at Hilton, Doubletree and Hilton Garden Inn hotels. All hotel were good to great, except for this Hilton Garden Inn. This is the first time ever I write a negative review on... More

We stayed here for 2 nights, again on the Riviera Tour of Puglia. We were told that this was the sister hotel to Lecce - hmm - well the general opinion amongst fellow travellers was that yes, it was similar, but everything about the rooms was smaller. Smaller bed (4'6") smaller towels, smaller room, smaller cups. The bed was comfortable... More

On our arrival we were very impressed with the landscaped grounds. Unfortunately the good news ends there. Our room was small and the carpet and windows were dirty. The main pool was closed (mid June) but after many complaints from our group the pool was reluctantly opened. Adequate breakfast. Dinner was ok but very rushed. I guess this was due... More

We stayed here as part of a tour of Puglia for two nights in a group of 48. We had been looking forward to this hotel as it has grounds and advertised two swimming pools one indoor and one outdoor. Sadly the outdoor pool was not yet ready for the season though we arrived at the beginning of June. The... More

We are currently staying at the hotel for two nights. Stylish in a kind of eighties sort of way. Lovely countryside setting. Seriously disappointing. Room small but adequate- nothing like the sister Hilton in Lecce. Food OK, no more. Both beautiful indoor and outdoor pools were out of action. Warning! Exceptionally noisy disco ran from midnight till three am. Relieved... More

Stayed here with a group of 50 people. We were taken into Matera by coach, but coming back a couple of us took the local bus €1.50, hourly from the bus station, which takes about 20-30 minutes and stops outside the hotel. Very attractively designed hotel in very quiet area, I had view of hills. Light and airy common and... More

Stayed in this hotel for 2nights as part of a tour round Puglia. On first impressions the hotel looked nice and modern set in the outskirts of Matera. The room was very average and had a balcony overlooking the car park. We could not use the balcony as it was covered in pigeon poo and had several pigeons nesting there.... More

we stayed one night at the hotel, the room was nice and comfortable, the breakfast was good with choices (even if i must say that the juices (orange, etc.) were chemical so not so good). The negative point was the closed pools outside ! I didn't saw any information about that on their website so it was not a good... More

I went here as part of a group, we stayed two nights.Whilst the hotel decor is very stylish, and the surroundings delightful, the service was not great. Although there were few other guests apart from our group of 50, we were not particularly well served, indeed, there seemed to be a shortage of staff; it was difficult to find anyone... More

We stayed here for 2 nights while on a tour of Puglia and was the best of hotels we stayed in. Initially we were given room 212 which had dirty carpets and peeling paint, after complaining room 415 was provided which as slightly bigger and in much better condition and also had a reasonable view of the rolling countryside.. Breakfast was... More
