I was looking for a hotel that was within walking distance of the train station. This place was old fashion lovely with a great room and a lovely balcony looking out to a side street. Breakfast was typical Italian, but coffee good and nothing to complain about for the price I was paying. The best thing was the terrific air... More

stayed for 6 nights because we liked it and extended our stay. Room was fine with good shower and toiletries. Efficient and thorough cleaner and plenty of staff for reception and breakfast with English available most times. When no English the friendly staff can work things out with you anyway. As noted, no channels on TV in any other language... More

Spent two nights here. Room is clean and comfortable, but the bed takes up 90% of the room. Shower is large by Italian standards, and there is plenty of hot water. Breakfast is ok if you like carbs--too many cakes and croissants (somewhat stale). There is yoghurt available. Location is good, about 5 blocks from the Adriatic Sea. Decor is... More

Location is perfect; value for money is pretty good too. Hotel is situated off Pescara's walking street and pretty close to the sea. Everything is within walking distance. Shops, beach, bars and Restaurants. Hotel offers off street parking which we found to be a must in Italian towns and over our trip became one of our primary conditions for choosing... More

If you are arriving by bus or train, you could not ask for a more convenient location (3 minute walk), better accommodation and price. This is not luxurious, but basic, with clean, quiet rooms. Bathroom was a good size, but then my sister and I shared a triple for extra space. Breakfast was a lot of cake and breads, but... More

An older hotel with plenty of character, charm, and comfort. Great location, in center of town and plaza. Breakfast was great. Staff were very helpful, in fact the owner/manager Antonietta, helped me connect with family from region. could not do it without her help. Room was comfortable, plenty of space, high ceiling, clean, TV with plenty of stations but none... More

Beautiful high ceilings and period furniture add to the quaint but spacious rooms. With modern large shower in a large (heated in winter) en-suite room. Comfortable beds, clean linens and towels, tv with most channels. Buffet breakfast was plentiful and varied for all ages and diets. Coffee is plentiful. There is a delightful and welcoming restaurant, over the road from... More

We chose the Alba as a stopover after the late-night flight from London, and before a trip into the hinterlands of Abruzzo and Molise. It's a lovely hotel: coated in Baroque-lite cherubs, but underneath a professional setup run by an extremely friendly and helpful staff. There is parking and some pleasant-looking bars and restaurants nearby open quite late (typical on... More

We picked this hotel for it's location only about 7 minute walk to the train station. Our room was beautiful, with sitting area and bedroom separate. Very helpful reception personnel. Hotel was clean, bathroom was small but adequate. We had to catch a 6 am train so missed breakfast. The hotel is close enough to the beach to walk. There... More

Well situated near the train and bus station and 10 minutes from the beach, but nothing else of interest that I could find in easy walking distance. Difficult to find decent restaurants though plenty of posh shops! But fine for a stopover or business night especially out of season when very reasonable. Mine was a family room full of beds... More
