Very colonial feel in the heart of Madeville. Nice pool and plants throughout. Clean and tidy bedroom . Basic , no coffee facilities in room. Ok for moving through safely , business and conference stays.

We have come to this hotel many times over the last fifteen years. It is a delightful, and quiet (indeed) hotel for any occasion: business, family vacation, or a romantic stay. However, bring your own shampoo! (not supplied. Hahn?!) The rooms are large, most with a couch, table and chairs. The decoration is a lively conservative Jamaican style. No room... More

The price was right, staff were courteous and very helpful. The hotel is in walking distance to shopping malls, market, groceries and churches. It was even close to the bus transportation service. The reception, welcome, dining, room service, amenities and exit were excellent. I truly recommend this hotel to all my friends in that in August, my wedding reception will... More

A pleasant family run hotel in Mandeville, we only stayed here for a couple of nights but the rooms are quite large, clean and airy. The food at the dining room was nice and the staff were very friendly.

Nice and very professionally run hotel. There is a small swimming pool, wifi and is prefect walking distance to the markets in the centre of the town. Although a little bit overpriced. Mandeville is nice and relaxed local city in Jamaica, nothing like to tourist areas of MoBay or Kingston. Very safe to walk around anytime without being bothered by... More

I have stayed at this hotel many of times when visiting family in Mandeville. We are from the States and are used to various hotel experiences. With three children, it is important to find a hotel that is clean, has warm/friendly staff, safe, and offers dining facilities onsite. With Golf View Hotel you get all of that and more. The... Please note I write in reference to the comment Made "Avoid Mandeville if Possible" Being in the Medical field, for the past 23 years, my job has taken me across the Island which includes Mandeville. Mandeville is one of the most beautiful untouched nature parishes in Jamaica. Many people from across the world relocate here. From the age of 20... More

We have family that live in Mandeville so we had reason to stay there for a couple nights. We drove all around the island of Jamaica and this was by far the worst place to stay/visit. We original had a reservation for 2 nights but we had to get out of there asap the next day. The only reason we... More

I enjoyed their $5 USD American breakfast in the hotel restaurant. We actually stayed back of the hotel in Owners Annex, but used the hotel facilities. I had a view of golf course from my room. Weather in Mandeville seems to be lot cooler than Kingston. I would definitely stay at Golf View Hotel again if I have a chance... More
