The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful in meeting all of our needs. The hotel itself is in need of a major upgrade. Beautiful property, and great location but needs to be at least repainted. I really enjoyed my stay and for the price, cannot really have any complaints. I will do it again if I have... More

I hosted my 30th birthday party at Mandeville Hotel and it was the best decision I made:) The staff, especially Tanielle Elliott who manages the hotel, were excellent. They assisted me with the beautiful decor and were very flexible and accommodating with the meal options in my package and my budget. Having lived in Jamaica all my life and visited... More

Stayed at the Mandeville Hotel while attending a conference which was also held at the hotel. The hotel is centrally located within the town of Mandeville, which is convenient. The rooms away from the Mandeville square are peaceful, but I wonder about those closer to the street where there may be music. The property is older, and the rooms could... More

Wish I had checked the property before paying. I stayed there for 2 days with my friend and we were so scared, we literally shove the dresser and an extra bed that was in the room to block the door. The property was dirty. We did not let 7 o'clock catch us off the property. We stayed here by mistake,... More

Dear Mayrob30, Thank you for your comments. We are extremely sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay with us and are particularly concerned that you did not feel safe at the property. We would like to reassure that the hotel has a 24-hour manned security post and front desk and is periodically patrolled by our security company... More

Spent a night at this hotel while visiting family in Manchester. We booked a suite & it was spacious and clean. It's no Ritz Carlton or even close but it was a good bang for the buck. The hot water was an issue but we survived. The area is pretty much the hustle & bustle of Jamaica, where everything is... More

Our mission team stayed here in December for 6 nights. We stayed in the annex which was very spacious with a living room/kitchen combo along with 2 bedrooms & 2 baths. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. We had a group of 16 which included 8 women & 8 men. We felt safe at all times within the grounds.... More

We stayed in Mandeville after a soccer match in Kingston and on our way to Negril. We asked for an inexpensive room (since we were already eating a reserved night in Negril). Our room was basic but neat and had a nice view of the pool area. The staff was extremely professional. We had a lovely breakfast by the pool.... More

Probably not, but should certainly be considered. Mandevllle is not really a tourist city, and you'll see why because this may be as good as any hotel there. I stayed in an annex building, which had bigger units, but was like something out of a horror movie. Really dingy unit, broken window, I was in fear for my personal security,... More

This is not a resort. That being said it was exactly what me and the family and friends were looking for as we were only in Mandeville for a few days before heading to Ocho Rios. The staff was helpful and front desk met all of our requests possible for a group of 14. The hotel is right in the... More
