Even thought the hostel is well located (at walking distance from highlights like the lonja and the central market) I think the double room was too expensive for the facilities and the service provided. The decoration was fancy, but the furniture was falling apart (noisy and uncomfortable bed) and a stench of tobacco welcomed us when we entered the room.... more

Small room, but did the job. Right on La Ramblas, which is filled with many, different characters - some good, some bad. Keep your wits about you late at night, I had my pockets rifled through by a bunch of prostitutes at 5am - didn't even notice, just thought they were being affectionate! more

Stayed here for 3 nights with friends on a long weekend break. Brilliant location for the metro and getting to the old town, tourist attractions and bars. Easy to get their if you're flying to Valencia. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great kitchen facilities and recreational area. Sun terrace is sloped but all adds to the charm. Rooms are... more

Top YouthHostel in Valencia city center. We spent the past 5 night in the Red Nest Hostel and I felt it was good value (14€ per night per person) for such a central, convenient location - Calle de La Paz in Valencia city centre. The staff of the Hostel was helpful, there was a good atmosphere in the hostel, and bathrooms... more

I appreciated that the staff spoke English very well which made it easy to get information about the places I wanted to see. They were also helpful and made good suggestions about other areas I would not have checked out otherwise. The place was unbelievingly clean and I remember wanting to steal any of their cleaning ladies(there was always one... more

I spent one night here in May and I felt it was good value for such a central, convenient location. The staff were helpful, there was a good atmosphere in the hostel, and although the place could have done with bigger bathrooms and more of them, they were clean with good showers. The dorm was a bit small for 6... more

I stayed in the hostel 3 days and all was efficient, clean and smooth! Staff at reception always friendly and very helpful. Great terrace where sunbathing and chilling out. Rooms safe with lockers, fan and air conditioning. Big kitchen where cooking and eating. Ideal location in town. I had a great time. Really recommend it! Sandra more

Bad and (mainly) unfriendly service, no aircondition (with 35 degrease), only heaters!! ketting kicked out of the common room at 00.30!, such an asloped terrace that u cant sit or put your glass on the table, terrible beds. Only positive thing: nice cleaning women and big showers (but mine was broken!). High prices!! For lower prices u get a charming... more

Red Nest was a pleasant experience. I only stayed for one night but the room was clean and so were the bathrooms. The room got hot at night because there was just a fan. Other than that, nice service and always available. Good location. more
