Typical mainstream 4-star hotel with spacious rooms, which are noisy at the street side. Poor area in Valencia. Breakfast room small, crowded and noisy, products cheap but coffee good. No extras such as fitness or sauna, ridiculous minibar. Overall, quite depressing. I would recommend a smaller room downtown or a hotel at the sea side.

I've visited it last summer. It's not very close to the beach - but this is actually a plus, since you can hire a bike and do some more sightseeing. There are a few grocery shops around so you can easily try some authentic food there. Service is very helpful. The only problem was with internet connection - in my... More

My husband and I stayed here for two nights half board over easter, the hotel is in my opinion a two star hotel. There are no facilities, no tea/coffee/water in the room, no real bar area in the whole hotel - just a cafeteria, the restaurant is tiny with no atmosphere/décor, the menu is only in Spanish and the staff... Me and my partner visited for a quick break last weekend. We stayed just for 2 nights and it was very cheap to eat and drink over other European countries we have visited. Be prepared to walk a way or hire a bike as even though I say central it is a hell of a walk if on heels to... More

Located near central area it is a good base. Efficient check-in, nice staff, pleasant good size room. Plus points are the location and price paid was reasonable for the standard. Food in the hotel was OK but limited, and immediate area was quite limited in restaurants, although I wasn't prepared to walk too far as weather was not so good.... More

The hotel is well located for the city and not too far from the centre. The parking underground was excellent and they didn't mind my parking also a small trailer. It is dog friendly so big plus for that. The bed-room was very good, well furnished and decorated. The bathroom was rather scruffy in that it need tiles replacing and... More

We booked a non-smoking room but our room absolutely stank of cigarettes. The Wi-Fi was poor, there was techno music blaring next door, and the room was very warm so we had to leave the window open all night (not ideal when you're in a big city next to a main road). It does have underground parking, which is very... More

My colleague and I stayed here for the weekend, while working in Spain. We both had good sized rooms, which were clean and modern. After some of the hotels I have stayed in recently this place was brilliant. The location is midway betwen the beach and the town, and both are a bit of a trek, however the hotel does... More

Dear staff of Hotel Puerta de Valencia, We really enjoyed our stay in August. Starting from check in till check out we felt so good and almost like at home. The rooms were clean, we liked the modern design and nice decoration, its a good money for value. People were helpful, especially Misho from the front desk. We want to... More

I stayed here with my boyfriend for one night in December because we went to see the football late in the evening and needed a place to rest our heads. I was little disappointed but not overly so. The website pictures are definitely old. The hotel itself was relatively clean but the decor was questionable, a little outdated in areas... More
