We stayed for 3 nights at the Sidi Saler and on the whole I would say its a good hotel. Our party consisted of myself, my husband , my daughter, her husband and our grand daughter (18 months). The staff were all very helpful and pleasant and the hotel was very clean. I can understand how the hotel got its... more

Sidi Saler is located 10 km from Valencia town. Free shuttle bus really runs every hour. The hotel itself is good inside, however, it may look runout outside. Rooms are spacious and clean. Almost all rooms have sea view. Try to take a higher floor so that you can enjoy the sea and the coast. Breakfast is very good. The... more

We stayed at Sidi Saler for two nights for a quick break. The hotel was fantastic in almost every way. The cleanliness, the staff, the spa facilities etc. But the restaurant menu choice and the food was extremely disappointing. Breakfast was a non-event. There was virtually no choice at breakfast or dinner for vegetarians too. One evening, we ordered partridge.... more

I was surprised about some other reviews complaining of this hotel. We stayed there 5 of us with colleagues for 5 days, and I heard none of them complaining, all of us was happy with this choice. The room was good size, nice balcony with a sea-view, all clean, well equipped. Breakfast is some of the nicest I had, with... more

We booked into a double room and we were (me and my wife) sent (not brought - but some guests did get this service, not sure why) to our rooms only to find it was a twin. I rang reception and they said that I had not booked a double! I had the reservation receipt with me and said that... more

The short version of this review is as follows; This is NOT a five star hotel - about half of the staff we met were unhelpful or even hostile. A group of four of us were completely refused entry to the restaurant because i was wearing shorts (I am a 50 year old professional, I was on holiday, a resident... more

What a pity that such an area of outstanding beauty should have this ugly concrete blot on the landscape in the middle of it. The hotel probably built in the 70's in an unattractive concrete block that in no way warrants its official 5* luxury rating. The room we were allocated for a 2 night stay had a sea view... more

Very nice hotel in a great location just outside of Valencia. The only thing I would rate this hotel down on is its 5 star rating---the rooms are absolutely NOT of 5 star size or quality. There is a great shuttle bus service provided by the hotel that runs regularly to and from the city. This makes the hotel ideal... more

After reading some of the previous reviews for this hotel (after I had already booked) I was quite apprehensive about my stay there. I went for three nights in late september 2007. Firstly location. The hotel is quite a way out of Valencia itself but there is an hourly shuttle bus (free) service connecting to town. This required some planning... more

The Sidi Saler is a very mixed bag indeed. I'll put it simply: it claims to be a five star luxury hotel, and certainly comes with a 5 star price. The reception looks 5 star, but the rooms are 3 star MAX. The beds are small and uncomfortable, the rooms are small too and they hadn't put a bottom sheet... more
