Very well located hostel close to shopping, cathedral and restaurants, pleasant staff. However the air conditioner was broken in the reception and there was no air conditioners in the rooms and it was very hot. Overall I would recommend if the weather was cooler.

Fantastic location not far from train station and nearest underground station from/to airport. We had an ensuite, quite clean and big enough. Wifi works best on the reception desk floor, there is no elevator and mosquitos can come without invitation. If you're unlucky to get noisy neighbours, earplugs may come handy. I would definitely come back.

the room and the shower was dirty. everything was old..the city is really little so its close to city center..

Hostal El Cid is conveniently located in the city's historic center and very close to all sorts of public transportation. My husband and I just returned from 3 nights at this very well-located hostal (about 5-10 minutes walk from the main square and the station in the other direction). Our room was reasonably sized and simply furnished (no wardrobe). We looked at another room at the back of the building and it was smaller. Ours had a small ensuite bathroom.... More
