Being a good Aussie, I have traveled extensively and have stayed at MANY different hostels around the world. I have traveled all around Spain and have been to Valencia three separate occasions, staying at two different hostels previously. I chose Home backpackers because it was the cheapest hostel I could find of only 10euros a night and to my delight... More

I stayed in the largest bedroom on the third floor. It is a 16 person dorm, but there is a wall that splits it in the middle so it feels much smaller. I was in Valencia for Las Fallas festival, and this hostel was perfectly located for all the chaos that encompassed the city. While traveling solo, the staff and... More

The staff was so lovely, helpful and funny. They spiced the hostel up! I stayed in a 16 bed dorm at the seconded floor and it was really good. Lookers in the room, the cleaning lady made our beds every day (never seen that in hostels) and there are fans to keep some of the heat away. Also there's a... More

Booked as always in my favorite website, I tried a central location and cheap. This hostel is perfect for short budget, although I must say that I opted for a 24 bed mixed room. The location is excellent, in the historic center, you can reach it from the airport thanks to the metro, not really close but a 15-minute walk... More

Very good service; clean rooms, clean bathrooms and fun activities. Make sure to ask for Francesa. You can rent towels for 2€. I recommend the old city and new city walking tours (Duncan is the best guide)

I stayed here in August 2013 for La Tomatina Festival. The hostel is pretty big with 3 different levels. There is a shared bathroom on each floor with clean toilets and hot showers. I stayed in a 6 bed dorm with my partner. Everyone we met in the hostel were very friendly including the staff. There was a large kitchen... More

The hostel has a large dinning room connected to a couple small couches and tv, nothing special but its alright to kill some time. The reception is decorated well and they have some free computers. As with most of Spain the hostel is a little confusing to find but isnt to far from some interesting spots. The washing maching broke... More

It has everythong you want from a hostel: clean bathrooms, big kitchen, amazing staff, some organized activities. It is located in an old church building in the old center of town. From there you can walk, or better yet, bike anywhere in Valencia. Oh, and I liked the rooftop terrace, too bad they close it at 10pm. I would recommend... More

I think this hostel would be fun if you were traveling with a group and looking to party all the time. I was traveling alone and tried to pick a place where I could meet other people, but most of the people in Home were with insular groups and were not very friendly or welcoming. The place is huge and... More
