The location of this hotel was great for a relaxing holiday, literally step out of the hotel and on to the beach and one minute to Old Town, about 15 minute walk along the beach to the new Town. We had a seaview room which was lovely. The room was basic but very clean, the maids came in every day and the towels were changed daily. This hotel caters for mainly Spanish, the menus and signs were in Spanish but we didn't eat at the hotel anyway with so many great restaurants in the Old Town. You can buy a continental breakfast for 4 euro but we usually found an English Breakfast somewhere. (We particularly like Sherry's up near the castle or the Honeypot for breakfast and Paniels, Michaels or De Ja Vu for evening meals). The reception staff spoke good English and were very nice, helpful and pleasant. Bilbaino is closed from mid November to March but we will definitely go back next year, what it lacks in facilities (no pool etc) it makes up for in location and service. We booked... more
