The Melia is a lovely hotel and the gardens are beautifully kept. Wish I could say the same about the dining room. In need of a refurb and the cleanliness was poor. Dirty cutlery and glasses. Lack of staff for a very busy dining room, looked disinterested in my opinion Pity because everything else was great

Looking at the public rooms and foyer all looks well but beyond that where do the four stars come from.
