Booked this hotel with not knowing a lot about it, however I am over the moon that I did! The staff are so helpful and nice. All Spanish speaking but that didn't matter to me! I was lucky enough to be issued with a room overlooking the beach, a beautiful view to wake upto each morning! To conclude if you... More

Spent nine nights at the colon, great vale for money and great location in the old town just across from the beech. Staff are are Spanish and most of the customers were Spanish but that's fine with us. Staff so friendly and helpfully. Clean, a bit dated if your looking for a 4 star.

We stayed for two nights in May 2014 and booked Colon mostly for its location . Before arrival I had asked for a top floor overlooking the beach but on arrival we had been allocated second floor with partial views. However as it turned out this small balcony was ideal for sitting quietly watching all the public passing by and... More

Just returned from a 5 day stay, amazing views from balcony, clean and comfortable accommodation, basic but had a few goodies, air con, powerful shower. Location excellent, but as others have pointed out food pretty poor, continental breakfast ok, dinner would recommend giving a miss, but as extremely well priced, there are numerous eateries around hotel. Couple negatives, can be... More

We have just got back from a short stay at the Colon and we found it to be well worth the price in a great location.Breakfast basic but ok.Staff very friendly but speak no english(why should they?). The hotel caters for the spanish market really but that didn't bother us at all.

Just spent three nights at the Colon Benidorm and was pleasanty surprised. The room was very basic but clean but the balconey/view was fantastic! It looked right over the beach and I just sat and enjoyed the views (when I wasn't out of the room). My firends and I went half board and had a decent enough breakfast; however the... More

My wife and I stayed for a 3 night break October 13. It was our first trip to Benidorm and we were apprehensive, but luckily we chose an absolute gem of a hotel. It is right on the beach and very close to the old town. There are plenty of tapas bars and entertainment nearby, but none of it is... More
