First time city centre stop over in October to explore further. Hotel is easy to find and just off the busiest of roads, tucked away in a narrow road, but in easy reach of shops, bars and restaurants. We were given a warm welcome and checked in quickly. Our room for a budget hotel was clean, spacious and light from... More

Alicante is often overlooked so this time we decided to stay a night in the city and sample its many delights. We were looking for a budget option and were pleased with the San Remo. A small room but perfectly adequate. Nice central location meant there was a degree of noise but that's to be expected. Plenty of places close... More

We stayed for three nights in late September. Location is good, right in the town centre and ten minutes from the beach. The rooms are quite basic but adequate. In our bath we could switch the tap to bath mode, but then couldn't get it back to shower mode (one of the staff kindly switched it back for us and... More

I spent only 1 night here, and that is enough for me. It was late August, and the tourists were just enjoying their last hours of vacation. But we need to sleep, you know? So, if you don't mind the yelling and singing very late at night, stay here... after all it's very central: close to the beach, in the... More

The San Remo is such good value. I paid €30 for a single room with balcony and air conditioning -perfectly clean and bright. The lovely man on duty in the afternoons (may be the owner is so welcoming. The San Remo is right in the centre of the action near the shopping streets, 5 or 10 minutes to beach and... More

Together with my wife we spent 4 nights in San Remo. General impression is positive and the place is worth to recommend. Disadvantages: - we booked the room with balcony (one wall of the room are the windows) and as far as during the week it was posibble to get some sleep (the only problem was the noisy cleaning machine... This is the second time I have stayed here, and once again a brilliant wee hotel! If you need somewhere to put your head for a few nights while in Alicante, I would certainly recommend this place! The prices are very reasonable, the beds comfortable, and there is air conditioning. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The only gripe... More

This is a budget hotel. Its clean the rooms are good. Good bed. A little small. Even had a balcony. I paid 30 euro per night. That's unbeatable value. Friendly people on reception. I come to alicante frequently. I usually pay double that. But not anymore. I will stay here in future. Loads of bars and restaurants around

It was an early check in and that the room was in progress of being prepared. Went out for lunch and stroll. On arrival we were sent to our room. Nice view from the balcony. A little noisy at night but we are in the city anyway. Good location to anywhere!

This hotel was run by very friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean and spacious. Considering we paid so little we were surprised to have a balcony. Also had wifi and sky tv. Very central location Thought the noise from the street would keep me awake but it didn't at all. Would highly recommend here and will be visiting... More
