There are no Frills , this is a budget pension with shared bathrooms. I have stayed here almost every year for the last decade now. The Pension now gets a top rating from me as it is simply the very best value for money , the rooms are spick and span and the family are friendly and helpful.

I regularly stay at Pension Escaray when I am in Pamplona, walking on the Camino de Santiago. The rooms are simple and comfortable, and the pension is perfectly located in the center of the old part of Pamplona. A single is 20 euros, which is the best value I've found in Pamplona. The family who runs the pension are friendly... More

There are shared bathrooms and toilets. It is a basic place to stay although I have spent up to a week there ,prefering to spend... More

€125 a night for a room. The room was what one might call shabby chic, it was ok at a push, but old and dated. But that is not my gripe! We weren't even given clean sheets, towels, the bed's never made, NOTHING, and we stayed 5 nights! It was shared bathrooms and it was obvious the bathrooms hadn't seen... More

We were in Pamplona for the running of the bulls so accommodation is hard to find and ridiculously overpriced. This explains why most people end up sleeping in the park amongst the rubbish, bus stop or even on slippery dip in the kid's playground! You get pretty dirty during the whole festival with people throwing champagne, sauce, flour, eggs or... More
