3 friends and I stayed for one night . It is an old style hotel. Very clean. Front of house staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. We could not linger as we were heading out early on Camino walk. The only drawback was the noise of cars outside window. This was on a Tues night and I... more

I have stayed here twice and would happily do so again. Good value, reliable and well run. Others have described the location - I had had no problems with noise, indeed if anything the area is quiet! Car parking is a problem in this restricted zone but there is an excellent underground public car park 5 minutes walk away. Rooms... more

I made reservations based on tripadvisor reviews, and was very happy. Only a 10 minuter walk from the bus station, it is located on the walls of the old city, overlooking a small beautiful plaza (part of the remparts). From the plaza, you can walk along the remparts to the main areas of the old city (about 10 minutes). You... more

Spent 3 nights here in May 2008. Good sized but somewhat spartan room with lovely modernised bathroom. Fabulous view across the mountains with storms passing in the late afternoon. The breakfast was basic but good strong hot coffee. Breakfast was included in 69 euro per night. Free internet was a bonus and the staff were very helpful despite our lack... more

We stayed at Hotel Eslava for one night during our 10-day trip around northern Spain in May 2008. Our room was very basic but clean. The best thing about it was the beautiful view from the window. The worst thing was that we were right next to the elevator - there were constant mechanical noises and voices beginning in the... more

The Hotel Eslava (not to be confused with the nearby Pension Eslava) is a real find: inexpensive, comfortable, clean, very well located, and with pleasant staff and generous breakfasts. It is right on the edge of the historic part of Pamplona. The views from my room were beautiful. The rooms are smallish but perfectly adequate, with comfortable beds, sparkling modern... more

This review is for Hotel Eslava (I understand "Residencia Eslava" to be a hostel on another street nearby). We spent 7 nights here at the end of September 2006. We got off the train in Pamplona without knowing where we would stay, took a bus to the Old Town and asked around for advice. We ended up here, it's in... more

This little hotel is a traveler's dream: very affordable; great location; clean, cozy and tidy; charming; has a simple but generous and tasty breakfast and the staff is top-notch. It felt more like being in a home and the owners made us feel as family members. In one word: we got a lot of value for our money, enjoyed a... more
