Very quirky hotel - we had a lot of trouble finding it as the façade is currently under scaffolding, so we drove past a couple of times, not easy on the busy Gran Via - however we had a comfortable stay and the front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room was nice, great bathroom, quiet, which was... More

Its location is great as you are right in the town centre with easy access to everywhere. Staff were very friendly and helpfull. However I do not consider it a four star hotel at all, room was not that clean, glasses dirty, breakfast was very average. Our room was facing the main road and although we were on the top... More

The hotel is located on the Gran Via, about a block from the Plaza de Espana and in the middle of the theatre district. The room was comfortable and clean. We reserved a room for three and they were expecting us with an extra roll away -as requested- and everything for three people (towels, welcome candy, etc) Nice service. Highly... More

It was just a quick stop over, there is no car parking facities and as its being renovated on the outside they could have made the hotel name more visible , it's on a very very main thoroughfare And stooping there was next to impossible.

The hotel was in a great location, very near to many attractions...everything walking distance. The hotel staff received us very nicely and had everything we needed in our room even for our baby. The rooms and bathrooms are nice. The hotel has a beautiful terrace on the 10th floor. Overall it was a nice stay.

I stayed there two nights for business. This hotel is very centrally located on Gran Via, Madrid's major artery. The room was configurable and well designed, the bathroom spacious with two sinks. The room has air conditioning, but you can also open the window. Reception were always helpful, either with taxis or cutlery when we wanted to have an improvised... More

This hotel is located in Gran Via, which is equivalent to their main/market street. The reception staff are very helpful and provided me with early checkin and fast checkout. The hotel provides for modern amenities and decor. The elevator is see-through. The room I got is very quiet and provided me with very good sleep; The hotel building is under... More

Staying in Malasana

Neighborhood Profile
Malasana
Hip bars and galleries, independent theaters and music venues, young people with tattoos and funky hair, narrow winding streets — this is Malasaña. Near the center, Plaza Dos de Mayo is a gathering of friends outside bars, dog owners, artists under craft tents, and creative types with notebooks and sketchpads on the plaza’s benches. It may not be as neat and tidy as many other parts of the city, but this only adds to the Malasaña edge. Shops and bars here range from hippie-crunchy to upscale trendy, and on weekends, the streets are bustling around the clock as the nightlife progresses from dinner to bar to disco to late-night food. On the west side of the neighborhood is the subdistrict called Conde Duque, named after a large pink fort in its center that has been converted into a cultural center for exhibitions and performances. Prettier yet just as edgy, this intimate corner of Malasaña is home to a young international community.
