After doing extensive research I settled on this funky little hotel in the heart of Madrid. Located just of the Grand Via, is an outstanding bargain with Ikea/modern style rooms. free wi-fi and a friendly extremely helpful English speaking staff. When I checked in, Evo offered me a map and circled various attractions of interest. I ordered a pizza one... more

I found this hostel on the internet and guided by the good reviews and nice pictures I booked a double room for 80 EUR (not very cheap by the way). The staff is just amazing, George is the best! Our room was nicely decorated and lightened. We had a nice shower and two sinks (something we just loved) but there... more

What can I say about this hotel, one word comes to mind: EXCELLENT. From the moment, I walked in the door, I felt so comfortable and welcome. The staff were very helpful (George in particular always greeted me by my first name whenever I came and went). The room was compact, but comfortable. It was cleaned every day, and to... more

Perfect location and perfect hosts, friendly staff. We were there for the Real Madrid champions league game and some sight seeing. Location for sight seeing is perfect as its walking distance to Prado etc, dont worry about lack of breakfast and restautant loads of bars and restaurants nearby. Only grumble was my room was centrally controlled for air con and... more

Really cool and nice hotel in the center of Madrid. Close to everything. Hard to find from the street but perfect because really secured. The owners are available all the time and are really friendly. The rooms are really nicely decorated and the price if good. Really comfortable and clean. Would definitely go back again. Free access to internet. more

We've found this hostel casually on the internet, so we booked knowing nothing on it. Well, we've found an excellent place with a very clean, original and comfortable room. The staff is very kind and available, giving all indications you need for food or place to visit, or simply for talking... The rooms was great, very originally designed, with some... more

Great little place. Would deinitely go back there! A hidden gem in the centre of Madrid. I picked this by the reviews on here, and just because it looked so funky in the pictures!! We were hoping we'd get one of the red and white rooms as we were there for a Liverpool match - and got lucky! It was... more

I was a bit worried when I read reviews about it. I just spent 3 nights there and have to say I was absolutely delighted. The hotel looks really nice, very convenient as very central. Noise was not an issue for me, I couldn't hear a thing! Service was very good, the room was small but had everything I needed... more

I hardly feel the need to write a review for this hostal because I agree wholeheartedly with most of the other reviewers, so I'll keep this short. I booked this based on the reviews I had read and found exactly what I had expected. However, we had no trouble finding the place. We found the street on a map and... more
