Just enjoyed an 'off-season' five night stay. Huge, comfortable room, very sound-proofed to the street, less so with adjoining rooms (loud snoring next door....) It's good to know that others had trouble finding it, but once there you are really central to much of Madrid. Only a block off Puerto del Sol you couldn't ask for a better location. We stayed in a double room for 2 nights. Room was very long & narrow, but spacious for 2 people. En-suite bathroom was tiny but adequate. Juan Carlos was great...unobtrusive but there if you needed him. Room was large and hostel location was fantatsic..round the corner from the heart of Sol. The corte ingles is agreat big supermarket in Sol so we often stocked up there.In Madrid we found the language a little difficult but we still got around and didnt go hungry !!. Dont hesitate... more
