Stayed here for 6 nights with 3 of my children. Had a lovely room(605) on the 6th floor, the room was clean and spacious. The bathroom was a good size. Cleaned everyday to a high standard. Within walking distance to where ever you wanted to go. Didn't try the buffet, but it looked good. Staff were helpful and always polite.... More

Excellent customer service. The hotel staff namely Teresa, Florr, Pablo, Juan and everyone else were great. The hotel is conveniently located , very close to Gran Via and the metro stations I would highly recommend this hotel.

Quite disappointed with this hotel. The location was good and the air conditioner worked well and was reasonably quiet, bed was comfortable and clean so the basics were OK however that is about where it stops. The reception desk area is messy and filled with clutter that would normally be hidden from guests. It is a generally uninviting area with... More

We found the hotel after a little bit of searching and actually went past the end of the street it was in 3 times before we spotted it. The entrance is very plain. On arrival, the staff were very pleasant. Lovely room, good air conditioning! The hotel was central to most areas, and very close to the metro and served... More

The hotel is in a perfect location to visit all the attractions. It is very modern throughout the hotel. Wonderful shower that they advertise in the bathroom but, it floods the bathroom when you use it.

Modern hotel, with a focus on "being design". The location is interesting as close to animated area and walking distance of most of attractions. But i would rate this a 3 good star hotel, not a 4 one ... Friendly staff, comfortable rooms (avoid the ones on the street, which are a bit noisy). Don t go there if you... More

Staying in Centro

Neighborhood Profile
Centro
Expansive plazas, local and foreign crowds, street performers, colorful lights, window shopping, restaurant signs promising the best paella, ham, and churros con chocolate- this is downtown Madrid, a collection of plazas interconnected by a network of side streets. Some of these side streets are wide pedestrian shopping routes, and some are hidden, so it's possible to duck in and out of the bustle as desired. The iconic Puerta del Sol is the giant crossroads of the city and a must-see attraction at any time of the day. The nearby Plaza Mayor, completely enclosed by historic red buildings, is an ideal place to grab a bite to eat outside, amidst scores of tables and people out for a stroll. Plaza Isabel II (also known as “Opera”) is smaller and a good meeting spot, and the stately Plaza del Oriente is the front yard of the Royal Palace. Centro can be touristy (pickpockets are unfortuately not unheard-of here), crowded, and sometimes gimmicky, but it is also the place to experience classic Madrid.
