We stayed in this hotel last year for four nights. Even before you walk in you are impressed form the building and as you walk in you get impressed from unique art and design features. We had a very warm and smiley welcome and an upgrade to an executive room with plenty of light, decorated with pastel colors, offering a... More

The best thing of this hotel is its location. You can walk practically anywhere: Mercado San Miguel, El Prado, Thyessen and Reina Sofia museums and lots of nice restaurants and bars. Very cordial, helpful and friendly employees greeted us and were very helpful in knowing how to get around, where to go and making reservations in restaurants etc. Clean and... More

This is one of those trendy boutique hotels. Maybe 20 rooms. The room is not square for example. Shower is glassed in and visible in room. Space is large, with lots of room to put things out or away. Despite fronting on a very lively and noisy square, they had great soundproofing, so it was quiet. Only problem was the... More

I think the title says it all. Nothing was too much trouble and we were very comfortable. Particular thanks to the front desk man (with glasses). We liked the linen provided, especially the deep blue blankets, makes a change from beige.

The hotel has cosy rooms with great modern design and is close to all attractions (e.g. few minutes on foot to all major museums). The hotel is calm (see below for recommendations) and very close to tireless night life of Madrid. It is located at the Plaza Santa Ana - vivid, but not very touristic place in the heart of... More

Helpful staff, nice location, spotless house cleaning service, comfortable mattress. Rooms ending with 02 and 03 have probably the best view to Plaza de Santa Ana, quite and safe neighborhood, close to many attractions and the main train station. Cons: low inner soundproofing, noise from hallway and neighbors can be noticeable, breakfast menu is good but could be more diverse

I stayed here for my boyfriends birthday and it was lovely. Before the date I emailed and arranged wine to be left in the room on arrival this was dealt with swiftly however I did order white and it wasn't cold when we entered the room and neither was a corkscrew left to open it (minor details!!). On arrival we... More

Our first stay in Madrid. Arrived after 30 hours or so from Australia (SYD-HKG-LHR-MAD) and were immediately welcomed by the front desk. I guess we looked a bit bedraggled! The room was very nice, well equipped with a very large balcony that allowed a look into the Plaza Santa Ana if you stepped on tip toe. This was an ideal... More

Hotel Room Mate Alicia was recommended to us by a friend. We were not disappointed. Our first impression of the hotel was with Salvador who was very welcoming and helpful and who gave us excellent tips on where to dine. His colleague was also a very friendly and helpful young woman whose assistance we appreciated very much. We loved our... More

We spent 2 nights in the Room Mate Alicia. The idea of the Room Mate chain appears to be a fun, young approach. The hotel has a modern and quirky design, the rooms are stylish and the breakfast in the "boudoire" style, pink sushi bar downstairs was really lovely. The location is very central and on the corner of a... More
