We had been twice in this nice hotel. The last time it was on March 2012. We came again because we enjoy our stay a couple years ago. This time we got a back room on the 4th floor were the only window was in front of the exhaust of the downstairs restaurant. It was impossible to open the window... More

We found the service great - the platter of fruit waiting in our room was a much appreciated bonus. Bed was very comfortable and large. Room had an exercycle (which we didn't use). Bathroom was sapcious. Unfortunately it was very noisy outside and so needed to keep the double-glaxed doors shut but it was a bit hot and stuffy. The... More

the room for three was a good size but because of the sloping ceiling and beams, the space was reduced severely, as well as being a safety issue ( all three of us bumped our heads several times on the exposed beams) there was little natural light and the only mirror was in the bathroom. the bathroom was another disappointment.... I booked this boutique hotel after researching and using the reviews from the blog, delicious baby, regarding hotel with children. The bunk room was ideal for four. However plaza de carmen is littered with party people all night long and the noise escalates at six am when the discotheque empty out into the square. The beds don't have duvets just... More

We were a party of 10, staying for 3 nights in mid November. The hotel is located in a square and although tucked away, it takes less than a couple of minutes to reach Sol and from there you can pretty much do anything, and go anywhere! The staff were very helpful and friendly, and despite us being such a... More

When we arrived at the hotel we were told that they didn't have any rooms for us as several guests are sick and did not checkout. They claimed they didn't have our contact details (which is impossible) and therefore were unable to let us know. Instead they put us up at the High Tech President Castellana Hotel which was located... More

Just returned from a 4 night stay at this hotel. Pros Fantastic location – very central, Great number of restaurant / bars within walking distance. Friendly Staff, Room modern with a good power shower and very clean. Cons Very, very noisy – drunks in the square until very early morning (up to 5.00am) singing, shouting that seems to echo. Air... As many have said, the location of the hotel is fantastic. It's convenient to everything. Though the hotel is located in a lively area, we had no problems with noise. Our only issue was with the room. We are a family of four and were given a room on the fourth floor (one of these notorious rooms with the sloped... More

The room we stayed in was to small for three people, we had to walk around the room in a permenant stoop because of the sloping ceiling, it was not good, the room was so hot and there is no Air Conditioning in the hotel. The Power Shower with all it's mod con's was hopeless, ther was only one setting... More
