This little hotel is off the major streets but extremely well situated regarding museums, shopping, and sightseeing. Everything (Palacio Real, the Prado, and Gran Via) is within walking distance and the metro is only a couple of blocks away. The hotel employees spoke good English for the most part and were very helpful with recommendations, etc. more

Plan to stay in one of the gorgeous rooms with frescoed ceilings, and you won't be disappointed. We stayed in 203, a suite with two such ceilings. Located in historic center of Madrid near the main museums, Palace, cathedrals, etc. Helped arrange reservations for an excellent Flamenco show within easy walking distance (Casa de Patas).
