Hotel is located in a non-appealing neighbourhood. Taxi ride about 20 min from airport, with a rate ranging between 18 and 22 euro. Outside no attractions. Inside neither. Staff look like they have been working a bit too long in the same place, Restaurant has bland food (small evening menu, but in itself not a problem). The lobby has nothing... More

The hotel was really nice, staff very friendly, rooms were fantastic, enormous bed, nice bathroom, mini-bar, large flatsceen TV, hairdryer. Only negative was the hotel is quite a way out of the city - about ten minute walk to the nearest metro, and then around a 15/20 journey into the centre. We did however get a taxi home each night... Always keeping in mind that the price is really afordable comparing to the hotels from downtown Madrid, I really think that Barcelo is quite fine. Proper rooms, fairly equiped, very comfortable beds, quite and safe neighborhood, solid breakfast. The sauna in the basement can be very relaxing on a rainy day. Maybe, a bit far away from the subway, but... More

An excellent hotel. 10min from the metro. The receptionist was very kind and helpful. Clean room and hotel. Comfortable stay. The journey from the airport is very small. Good value for the facilities. I recommend it for a relaxing stay. the only negative is value of food for the amount might be a little expensive. 10/10

A very clean and stylish hotel with excellent staff - in the wrong location. The hotel is located close to the airport (20 EUR drive) in a residential area. It takes you 10min to walk to the metro or the closest shop. Anyhow, for the price you will get a design hotel with nice air-con rooms (could be larger), a... More

My friend and I have just spent two nights here and could not fault anything. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble from booking tickets to a Flamenco show, where to go shopping, looking up train timings and making sure that the taxis took us to the right station. The buffet breakfast was... More

Hi stayed here for two nights in January. We got a really good rate of €50 a night on booking.com. We were very pleasantly surprised. We had a lovely room with a 7 foot bed. We were very well looked after by Enrique and the other staff. Breakfast is €14. You have a choice of continental or full. A very... More

Even Though the hotel was away from the center but it is in a quit busy part of Madrid, elegent and tastefully decorated in an ultra modern architecture. Proffetional staff, if you are driving you can park in thier garage for 10 euros. If you are flying it is very close to the airport. Best night sleep.

The rooms here are comfortable, although the poorly draining basin in the bathroom could be improved. The bar and restaurant close surprisingly early for a hotel and there is no real atmosphere in the bar. However, there was a good selection at breakfast and the hotel is relatively convenient for the airport.
