If I ever go back to Madrid I will 100% stay here. The hotel is beautifully designed, we were on the 10th floor I believe which was a Japanese style (don't quote me I could be totally wrong!), the room wasn't the biggest but was a decent size for what we needed. Only thing I would've like would have been... More

Stayed here for almost two weeks and appreciated the room, the welcoming staff, the food and the overall hotel-thing... Hotel is located next to two metro stations giving you fast access to anywhere in Madrid. Taxis are waiting in front of the hotel. Room is well equipped. Room service is quick and of good quality. In general everything is pricy... More

Great hotel for architecture lovers. Each floor has been developed by different worldwide figures as Jean Nouvel, N Foster, Zaha Hadid, Mariscal, Plasma Studio, .... I stayed at 7th floor, designed by Ron Arad and it was amazing....

First off, this is a lovely hotel staffed by lovely people. The rooms (on 9th floor) are spacious with lovely beds, albeit on the firm side. Bathrooms are big, toiletries are generous, shower is fantastic. The 'problem' may well be the 'major plus' for some people - everything is designed by architects! Thus, the entrance to the hotel lobby looks... More

This is my third visit to this hotel and as always it does not stop to surprise me. Booking on line in advance it was really cheap with a great value for money ratio and with each floor being different in design it is always a great surprise where you are going to end up. The cocktail bar in the... More

Really enjoyed our stay at the hotel last weekend. Stayed on the 4th floor which was all stainless steel and real funky. Just to note that there is only a glass wall between the bedroom and the bathroom so you have to be very comfortable with your fellow traveller :) Staff were friendly and helpful, however I was a little... We enjoyed the Puerta America on our recent stay in Madrid, we caught the metro direct from the airport to the station five minutes walk from it. We bought a 3 day pass at the airport for 18 euro each, navigating the metro is simple using the app on my phone. The nearest station is Cartagena ( when you come... More

Great room choices however Wi-Fi stinks. Not hotel run and difficult to use. Strange set up-- front doors look like they lead to a service entrance. Buffet breakfast expensive however lots of places to eat just behind the hotel. Metro stop close by.

This was a recommendation from Lonely Planet. It truly is a fantastic building- each floor designed by famous architects eg 1st floor by zaha haddid; others by Norman Foster, Marc Newsom etc. The bar area is quite buzzy and the pizza and mohitos we had there one evening were delicious. However it's billed as a 5-star hotel. The free wifi... More

Trip away for 3 nights in this fab hotel. Booked via Expedia and expected to be able the choose the room we wanted on check-in. Knew we didn't want floor 4 (Plasma studio) but anything else would be fine. As we are non-smokers, we only got the option of floors 4 or 9. We therefore settled on floor 9. Lovely... More
