Checked this hotel website and was intrigued but nothing I read prepared me for a most unusual experience. Ten floors, all different and most a bit quirky. Chose the 10th Floor, Japanese influenced interior design by Arata Isozaki. Couldn't imagine spending time in a predominantly black room but, apart from not being able to see my black leather slippers on... More

It's a very nice hotel with designer rooms, although a bit run down at this stage. The room was very clean, air conditioned, the sheets were changed every day. The bathroom was the best bit, the whole bathroom wall is a sliding door, so you can have a bath and watch a movie at the same time! Whole bathroom was... More

A rare gem of a hotel. Each floor individually designed by top architects/designers makes it more like a top contemporary museum than a hotel. Rooms are spectacular and most of the other guests are keen to show you their room ! The guest manager, Sol, was wonderful and provided great service as well as a tour. We will definitely return

Stayed for two nights. The hotel is beautiful, each floor designed by different designer, rooms are big with very comfortable beds. Fast wifi and great views if you staying in a room on one of the top floors. Nice swimming pool area and bar on the top floor. The staff is very friendly and helpful! It takes around half an... After a bad experience with an AirBNB booking elsewhere, we decided to change our plans and spontaneously head into Madrid for a few days, and booked Silken Puerta America Madrid on a whim. Awesome decision! It is the coolest and quirkiest hotel we've ever stayed in, by a long shot. Each floor has been designed by a different architect, and... More

We stayed on the Norman Forster level, but spent a bit of time checking out all the different floors and lobbies. The hotel is a great concept with some serious designers involved. The pool on the top floor is also really nicely designed. The location was fairly easy to get into Madrid, although there wasn't too much in the immediate... More

A really great boutique hotel with very quirky features. On arrival when you use the lifts for the first time that they have great views over the city. On entering the room you soon realize that the buttons for the lighting and curtains etc take some getting use to. Overall a very comfortable room but I thought that the bed... More

Stopped here for 3 nights. A great hotel that really does offer a unique stay. A must for any fan of architecture or even those that like something other than the usual hotel chain offerings! Great rooms, easy metro link to the centre and a nice roof top bar. Would definitely recommend if visiting the city.

A nice boutique hotel easily commutable from the airport and city centre. The location is away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre however, behind the hotel you will find a street with independent shops and restaurants. The moment we checked-in, we were greeted by friendly staff and were asked to choose the room theme on an Ipad.... More

If you read the reviews on tripadvisor you, like me, would perhaps assume that this hotel is like Marmite..... you will either love it or loathe it. However, having spent two nights there I can say that there is room for a middle ground view. It's not in reality a 5* hotel..... for that I would expect abject luxury and... More
