After reading TA reviews, we thought we'd hit the jackpot booking three nights at Silken Puerta America. I'm sorry to say it didn't begin to measure up. We didn't even get off to a good start. We'd made reservations with the hotel a month prior to our stay for the airport shuttle to collect us upon our arrival in Madrid.... More

This hotel is 30 min walk to centre of Madrid, but is such a trendy excellent hotel and taxi rank right outside so don't let the fact it's not city centre put you off, plus it's quiet. You can also walk to the Berabau in 35 mins. Every floor is a different architectural design and something to suit all, if... More

Definitely hotel that has gone for form over function. The design is very unique. I was on the fourth floor which was all steel. While stunning at first, it was not a particularly comfortable room. I was happy with the service and the breakfast. The shuttle bus from the airport is a plus if the timings are convenient for you.... More

Love the design concept (each floor is completely different designers and all the rooms are different and they let you pick from what's available at check in. Our room was on the 6th floor, very modern design. I LOVED that it had a huge tub and I took a nice hot bubble bath two nights in a row. Its only... More

Another visit, another floor, this time floor 3 David Copperfield. A very classy design, more comfortable than other floors and I paid 60 Euro per night. An absolute bargain. If you want a surprise experience this is your place no doubt

We did not check out the pool area. We parked next to hotel on street which is free after 7 also a a Carrefour supermarket and lots... More

The free shuttle service to and from the airport and city centre was very handy. Without this service we wouldn't have stayed with Silken Puerta America. The location is further out from the main attractions of Madrid. The breakfast was very good, we enjoyed the selection they had (make sure you grab the Churros!). Outside the hotel was a Metro... A really strange hotel. A different theme on each floor and we change room each day just to experience the different designers. The staff were really helpful and when we didn't fancy on type of room were happy to show us a different floor and room type. A great experience and the restaurant was magnificent. A great taster menu which... More

The hotel is located 20 minutes from the airport. They have a shuttle service back and forth to airport. Just inquire at the desk for times. They also have a service into a main location in the city at dffeent imes. This gives a break on traveling expenses. Also, the hotel is located very close to the metro station. It... More
