We chose this hotel as it looked modern and well located. The location is ideal for visits to the main galleries in Madrid which are all within walking distance. The hotel is also easily reached from the airport using the airport bus service with a 15 minute walk. We opted for the hotel breakfast which was excellent - best buffet... More

Vincci hotel is strategically situated very close to downtown and it is within a pedestrian area. It means no cars around, no noise, walking distance to any of the city attractions. The hotel is modern, very well equipped, everything cared to be perfect. Service level is good and the rooms are spacey and very warmly welcoming. An excellent breakfast buffet... More

We stayed for two nights, and first of all I have to congratulate to all the staff. They were so friendly and kind with us. They gave us the room 404, a very cozy attic, not vey big, but charm. This hotel and the room have a modern design, but not always comfortable such the bathroom: very dark and no... More

Perfectly situated in the heart of Madrid, it is in the middle of all the main sites and museums. Beautifull modern confortable rooms, the staff are kind and helpfull as well as very professional, clear signs of good training necessary for a 4* Establishment. The breakfast buffet was huge, you wouldn't need to eat until dinner. The bar terrace was... More

Situated in a brilliant spot to explore the city. Close to las Huertas, Plaza de Santa Anna and Playa major for great restaurants, bars and nightlife, but also close to the main museums, including the Prado and of course the fantastic Parque del Retiro. The hotel itself is decorated in a very modernistic way with dark reds and blacks and... More

This hotel is amazing. The accommodation was great, all the facilities are like new, but rooms without big windows are a bit darker. The location is really great, you will stay in te heart of Madrid near la puerta del sol, el corte inglés, la plaza Santa Ana where you can have a great time at night during spring and... More

We stayed here for 1 night, nice clean hotel, in a good location. The staff was nice, rooms were a good size for Europe. There was some noise from the street that could make it hard to nap during the day (we came in from an international flight). Otherwise no complaints.

The Vincci hotel group in Madrid has a reputation for style and comfort. The Vinnci Soho does not disappoint on either count. Dark woods and muted colour furnishings contrast vividly with splashes of brilliant red throughout. The location is perfect for tourists and business types alike as can be seen in the mix of tee shirts and suits sitting down... More

Pleasant check in, got into a room, very small, where you have to really search for a power plug, tip, it is behind the seat. The room is very hot, when you enter, but you think you can sort it out thanks to AC, keep on hoping, because theair conditioning is making it worse, the room was 30C hot. My... More

We stayed at the Vincci Soho for one night and that was an awful one. The room are well designed and decorated but it definitely needs a little refreshment; lots of dirt and broken stuff on the furniture and in the bathroom but for 80€ a night that was acceptable. The main problem is sound: at 2 a.m, a fight... More

Staying in Huertas

Neighborhood Profile
Huertas
Also known as Barrio de las Letras, Huertas was once home to prominent literary figures, Miguel de Cervantes and Lope de Vega among them. The neighborhood is committed to celebrating its rich heritage: Calle Huertas itself is inlaid with quotes from celebrated authors, street names pay homage to them, and second-hand bookshops pervade. Huertas receives a fair amount of spillover from the center — side streets around Plaza Santa Ana take on a foreign party atmosphere at night, and you always see young backpackers navigating the streets — but as you descend into the neighborhood, everything becomes a little more cramped and slightly less refined, and takes on more of an underground feel. Live music is at the heart of Huertas: by night, its subdued bars are ideal for meeting friends, sipping cocktails, and chatting quietly while enjoying jazz or singer-songwriter performances.
