This was our second stay at Ibis Madrid Centro, and it won't probably be the last. The rooms are functional, modern and sober, and the bathrooms are quite spacious, on par with the standards of a new 3-star urban hotel catering to both business and leisure travellers. The space in the common areas is limited, yet rational and well managed.... More

Location is very nice, you can reach to Sol-Plaza Major-Gran Via in 5 minutes via metro easily.Santiago Bernabeu stadium also very close from Tribunal Metro station(5 min by walk from the Hotel). Internet connection is enough. Breakfast is avarage( need more variety). Mr.JOAQUİN is very smart, and helpfull at the reception. He is taking care of... More

We thought this hotel was far from downtown, and it was not. The metro was one minute walking and then 3 minutes to Gran Vía or 5 to Sol. The area has much more comfortable restaurants than downtown. The staff was great and always helpful with any of our needs, also children friendly. Rooms are big enough, clean, breakfast more... More

I stayed here for several nights and got what had to have been the best room in the building, I had more windows than I could count and a decent view of the corner and city. The room was clean and very basic. Thin towels, basic linens, what one should expect for 2*. The room became incredibly hot the first... More

The hotel is located in a very convenient location. Not too far from the City Center. Right next to a metro station, which also makes it quite accessible. The rooms were quiet, clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Would definitely recommend to solo travellers.

What I do like about ibis chain is their standards and Ibis Madrid Centro is a good example for that. The hotel is located in the center near every thing in Madrid. Several metro station are around the area. Many restaurants and coffee shops in front of the hotel.

We'd stay here again without even checking other places. The hotel was well maintained, staff was friendly and helpful; the check in and out were prompt and accurate. The included breakfast was fine, very little cooked but choices of fruits, cereals, yogurt, pastries, coffee, tea, juice. Seating was ample and the area was immaculately clean. The room was bigger than... More

Have used Ibis many many times throughout Europe of the years and have always been very satisfied. This hotel is no exception! From initial check in to check out everything was perfect. Big clean comfortable bed, spotless bathroom, black out blinds and curtains all make for an enjoyable stay. Location is second to none . Right in the middle of... More

Staying in Malasana

Neighborhood Profile
Malasana
Hip bars and galleries, independent theaters and music venues, young people with tattoos and funky hair, narrow winding streets — this is Malasaña. Near the center, Plaza Dos de Mayo is a gathering of friends outside bars, dog owners, artists under craft tents, and creative types with notebooks and sketchpads on the plaza’s benches. It may not be as neat and tidy as many other parts of the city, but this only adds to the Malasaña edge. Shops and bars here range from hippie-crunchy to upscale trendy, and on weekends, the streets are bustling around the clock as the nightlife progresses from dinner to bar to disco to late-night food. On the west side of the neighborhood is the subdistrict called Conde Duque, named after a large pink fort in its center that has been converted into a cultural center for exhibitions and performances. Prettier yet just as edgy, this intimate corner of Malasaña is home to a young international community.
