“Great place to stay in Madrid”

Booked at the last minute and could not have been happier. Good price and nice clean room. Very basic with no fridge but other than that it was nice. Location was about a 10 minute walk to the Sol and the main shopping area. Wifi was not free and cost 5 euro for 24 hours.

Booked on line for an overnight stay and it met the need at a reasonable (for Madrid) price. Our initial room was a smoking room (if there was an option on the website for a non smoking room I missed it). They were happy to change when asked but an option when booking would have been better. This hotel (although not the newest of hotels) is based in the older part of Madrid amongst little streets with bars and very good tapas bars and restaurants.
