this hotel was lovely and central for a short break. the rooms were nice and specious. the best thing about the hotel is the reception staff, they are so hopeful and welcoming, they recommended some good locations to eat just a walk away. i didn't however like their lift system, when you call the lift and its full of staff... The location of the hotel is nice. There is a metro line just 200 mt. next to the hotel. Also the surroundings has a lot of nice restaurants. The hotel staffs are very nice, always at the service of the customers. The room that we got was quite spacious and equipped with the "ibis facilities". The hotel offers nice breakfast... More

We enjoyed our stay here as it was quite central to the city of Madrid - a perfect place to visit all the city sights. Staff were very helpful and friendly and the room, although quite basic was very clean and comfortable. Price of room reasonable and beers in the bar - extremely reasonable. Good place to stay when in... More

Stayed here for one evening, having flown in from Madrid, before a train journey to Valenica the next day. The hotel was a great find and I would definitely stay the next time I'm in Madrid for a weekend. All of the reception staff that we encountered were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location, just... More

Nice hotel, great location and very friendly staff. Located in Malasaña very close to Bilbao and Tribunal. Price is quite reasonable compared to other similar options and rooms are spacious and clean.

Staying in Malasana

Neighborhood Profile
Malasana
Hip bars and galleries, independent theaters and music venues, young people with tattoos and funky hair, narrow winding streets — this is Malasaña. Near the center, Plaza Dos de Mayo is a gathering of friends outside bars, dog owners, artists under craft tents, and creative types with notebooks and sketchpads on the plaza’s benches. It may not be as neat and tidy as many other parts of the city, but this only adds to the Malasaña edge. Shops and bars here range from hippie-crunchy to upscale trendy, and on weekends, the streets are bustling around the clock as the nightlife progresses from dinner to bar to disco to late-night food. On the west side of the neighborhood is the subdistrict called Conde Duque, named after a large pink fort in its center that has been converted into a cultural center for exhibitions and performances. Prettier yet just as edgy, this intimate corner of Malasaña is home to a young international community.
