Stayed in the 19 Bed Room, was expecting it to be messy and unorganised but the complete opposite, everything is quite spread out and spacious. Lobby Area is actually quite stunning, and good wifi throughout. Would highly reccomend for solo or group travellers

This was the first hostel that I've ever stayed in. You can take my advice from a non biased traveler who has stayed in numerous hotels but never experienced the hostel life. At the time I stayed in Madrid for 2 nights and 3 days as I was making my way down to Granada to study at UGR for 6... More

Still remember that I was deeply impressed with this Hostel. Don't know the price per night nowadays but I don't think it's changed much since that time (I paid 16 euros/night). Located in the city center it offers a great variety of activities. One key from entrance and your locker saves a lot of nerves cause you don't have to... More

The Cats Hostel is a great place to stay if you are visiting madrid or start your Erasmus-Year. The staff is really friendly and help you out with whatever you need, rooms are tidy and there are many activities offered where you get to know the city as well as many great people. I recomend the city tour to everyone!... More

This hostel is a really great place to stay at! Receptionists and other employees are very nice, helpful and easy going, the guests are exceptionally interesting and diverse and the area around the hostel somewhat romantic and alternative. The rooms are quite tidy, room doors and lockers are very safe in using transponder locks, cleaning services clean 4 times a... More

We are really glad that you enjoyed your stay with us, and appreciate that feed back, we want to always keep improving our hostel. That was one of the reasons the internet was not working well, however we can assure you that now, our hostel has internet in all rooms. Our breakfast will also improve and hope to see you... More

Great location in the center of Madrid, friendly staff (especially this French girl called Pauline at the reception), walking and tapas tours very interesting and funny. Not to much noise in the rooms, good atmosphere. Love this hostel!

I'm really surprised to read the negative reviews of this hostel, as in my opinion it is simply amazing, definitely in my top 3 hostels. I arrived early in the morning and got the bed immediately, I don't think that would happen in other hostels even if the bed was available. My room perhaps was not the best, as it... More

Located at the heart of Madrid, this hostel is maybe one of the most friendly and cool of Spain. The staff is amazing (especially Pauline who speaks French and help you for whatever you are asking her) to sum up, go there! :)

Excellent location. Great and helpful staff. Wifi was sketchy in the common room. Doesn't work in the dorms. Expect to help conserve water by using their push buttons for showering. Erica w Mad City was funny and vivacious for the free walking tour.

I know the hostel has no control over who books the beds, however it's the second time I've stayed here now and people just seem to have no respect or common sense and turn lights on, shout etc. at who knows what time. If you want to get drunk then fair enough but don't disturb others. The activities are good... More
