We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was small, but clean. Our room, 109, was perfect - at the back of the hotel, away from any traffic noise and not exposed to the afternoon sun. The bathroom was small but very clean also. However the shower stall was tiny, needing some care. Many... More

I was a little reluctant to book since it has a very low rating. It does not do it justice. This hotel is certainly not luxurious but it's spotlessly clean, plenty of space in the room and wifi and toiletries are provided. There's also a TV and hair dryer so no complaints from me. I didn't opt for breakfast because... More

Nice hotel next to Plaza Castilla and Chamartin station. Not centric but has a tube/metro station (Bravo Murillo - Line 1) and several bus stops near so one can move around Madrid easily. It has its own parking, 13€/night, but parking there can be problematic for big cars. The rooms aren’t big but they are OK. The breakfast, included on... More

Very close to the centre of Madrid and a very short walk from all public transport. The room was ok, the bathroom was great. Shame about the roadworks opposite and the fact that the staff were not very helpful or friendly at all.

As a travel writer, I attend the FITUR tourism exhibition every January. The Caballero Errante, while certainly not luxurious, is spotlessly clean, very good value for this part of town and is very close to the metro. It has the benefit of having one of the best restaurants in Madrid directly across the street as well as a very adequate... More

I just stayed here two nights on the tail end of a trip to Madrid and the surrounding region. The room was the most impressive - very clean, cheerful and quiet. Downsides:there was no breakfast included in the price, the staff do not always speak English (was ok as I have some Spanish), they forgot to call me in the... More

Im not fussy and i used to live in Madrid, but i felt totally unsafe sleeping in this hotel.. its not a hotel, its a Pension, more like a Hostel with a nice bathroom id say. But although it was quiet, and close to Plaza Castilla and Metro, this is good... until the Obras( roadworks) started in the morning at... More

The hotel was located very near to a metro station called Valdeacederas of Line 1. The station is at Murillo road. Just follow the street Via Pinos Alta to reach the hotel. We booked a double bedroom for 53 euros in this hotel (in July 2007). Breakfast was not included in this but was available for additional 7 euros. Our... More
