The hotel is wonderfully situated within walking distance to everything...The Palace,The Opera,Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol,yet is on a wonderful little side street so you do not have the noise of traffic...the rooms are comfortable and elegant and breakfast is outstanding...and the staff? friendly,helpful and happy to offer suggestions for restaurants,excursions,etc...Hotel Meninas is now my favorite hotel in Madrid!!!

The hotel is in one of the best locations you can find, by the Opera metro. We walked from there to Museo El Prado and enjoyed the walk through restaurants and shops. Room was clean, food was good, staff was polite. If you're visiting Madrid, this is a great place to stay in. Lots of places to visit on walking distance. Shopping centers, places to eat, etc. Loved the location and the price for the stay was Excellent.

The location of the hotel is fantastic. The hotels is on a quiet street but close to many attractions. Very often we just walked, even to the Paseo de Prado museums and the Atocha Railway Station. The Opera metro station is very close, though. The rooms are small, clean and functional. The high ceilings should help to avoid claustrophobic feeling.... More
