I booked Hostal Bianco in advance on booking.com. When I arrived and showed them my reservation- the people at the desk spoke absolutely no English- they did not have a room for me, and sent me upstairs to Hostal Internacional. I don't know if they are affiliated or just in the same building, but I expect to stay in the... More

We stayed here for three nights. It is a very small room, one full size bed and one twin. However, everything was clean and location was perfect (near plaza del sol). The beds are a little hard; however we didn't mind it.

Stayed here for 5 nights during citytrip. Our room was suprisingly roomy, both bathroom and room were clean and cleaned everyday. Staff was helpful. Location couldn't have been better: everything is closeby including two subway stations. However, this does come with a downside: it is really quite noisy. For me and my boyfriend this wasn't an issue: we are both... More

We stayed 4 nights. Location is OK, a few minutes walk from Puerto del Sol but there is a night-club up the street that bangs out loud music until the wee hours. Comfort was OK: beds a little soft but the bathroom was fine. However, we were out for several hours one day and no one bothered to clean the... More

We had the same problem than other of the opinions publised. We reserved this hostel one month in advance. Two weeks before,we called and the person in charge (Angel) confirmed us that everything was OK. We arrived to the hostel at 11 PM, but they couldn't find our reservation even if I showed them a copy of the confirmation e-mail... More

We visited Spain on Oct/2006. This was my 3rd stayed at this Hostal in 5 years. The location is perfect, I never had a problem leaving my personal stuff in the room, the bathroom and shower are clean (I always had the services inside the room), the elevator is tiny. 100% recomended. This is the first time that I stayed at a hostel. It was recommended by a friend. When I first arrived, there was some construction being done so there was scaffolding on the outside of the building and that made me a little nervous, but once inside the hostel I was pleasantly surprised. The desk clerk was friendly, and attentive.... More

We stayed here for 5 nights in July 06 after booking through the hostal's own website. There was scaffolding at the front of the building which doesn't create the best first impression but once through the front door the lobby is nice and we managed two suitcases and one person in the lift to go up one floor. The staff... More

This hostal was at a very convenient location and was extremely clean...the night staff is terrible (some young grouchy guy) , but the young girl that works days is a doll......The room was spacious, and most of all - impecably clean! Fixtures were new, TV was nice, but beware of the rock hard beds! Ay, they are a back breaker!!... More
