Great place to stay if you have a dog. Bed for the dog was waiting, as well as a food/drink bowl. Room is spacious and good atmosphere. Very friendly and helpful staff, with a special thx to Daniele who helped us with all our luggage. Easy location if you like shopping.

I recently stayed at this hotel on a trip with my family, we stayed in one of the duplexes. A few things 1. Forget about using the restroom privately, the door has no lock and is practically just a fogged glass in which you can pretty much see the inside. Also there was some kind of a bench underneath the... More

I stayed with my family for a weekend. The staff was so nice with us, offering us a stroller for our second child. The Hotel is located in a wonderful quarter, near the center and full of shops around.

The hotel staff could not be more pleasant and efficient. The breakfast is great. The rooms spotless. However, the bedroom was very small for wheelchair user and no seat in the shower which meant using the seat from the bedroom. Wheelchair did not go up the side of the bed. Bedside cabinets very low down which were difficult to access... More

Was here for business but had a bit of time (unusual) and this hotel was ideal. Very clean, all the necessary stuff, free wifi and close in the centre (I love Hard Rock Cafe and was 1 street away!!!) Good value in a big city in summer.....recommend

A pretty good hotel. Decent price, modern, well located in the shopping district and not far from main attractions. Service was good and all in all I have no complaints about this hotel. A good deal for Madrid.

As everyone has already stated, this location is fabulous. When you enter your room, you are impressed by the modern, high fashion appearance of the room. However, you soon realize that the room must have been designed by someone who has never actually stayed in a hotel! There are no drawers, only a few shelves, and no hooks or ledges... More

09/06/14 - 11/09/14 Room n° 316 - €140/night inc breakfast The location of this hotel is excellent: very central in a nice neighborhood, lots of nice shops, close to the Metro and many bus stops. A public underground parking at the front door (that is, the entrance lift from the sidewalk). The hotel is located in a traditional old building,... More

Staying in Barrio de Salamanca

Neighborhood Profile
Barrio de Salamanca
Broad, tree-lined avenues with pretty streetlights frame the neighborhood of Barrio Salamanca. With beautiful condominium buildings that make up most blocks in this area, this part of town is refined and quiet. It is also host to a few of the city's large shopping avenues, including Calle Serrano and Calle Jose Ortega y Gasset. A walk down these streets will reveal upscale chains, small boutiques, and plenty of opportunities for shopping or checking out the stylish displays. The locals here are polished and fashionable, the atmosphere is leisurely, and the lush Retiro Park on the southern border is yet another opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. A stroll through Barrio Salamanca is all about admiring the beautiful architecture, window-shopping, and people-watching in this upper-crust corner of Madrid.
