OK Hotel for the price. Location a bit out of the way, but short access to Metro and Bus. Close to cultural centre (El Matadero) and nice park along Manzanares River. Breakfast average. Staff very friendly.

In summary, the rooms are small and outdated, the walls are very thin so all the noise travels through making it very difficult to sleep, and it is very far from all the attractions (although the metro is close by and easy to use its so much nicer to discover a city by walking around). Also, the staff were (in... More

Very average. Dated decor and not the cleanest.. Reception staff were very helpful and courteous. There is free wifi. The rooms are pretty small.. I thought it was ok ? It's close to the station if that helps?

This hotel was our base for the beginning and end of our Intrepid tour, and is a functional hotel, with all facilities. It is a bit out of the centre, but if you can master the metro and bus services, it is quite easily accessible. The No 3 metro to Puerta del Sol is 2 minutes away, as is a... More

This hotel met my needs very well as friendly, safe and a fabulous location just 15 mins to centre of Madrid & all sights I wanted to see. Reception staff were very obliging with all my requests and questions.

The hotel had friendly reception staff who were happy to help and advise. We stayed here as part of an Intrepid tour and had no complaints. The furnishings were a little outdated but it wasn't anything that you couldn't get past. The room had air conditioning and the bed and pillow was comfortable. The room had a safe and maintenance... Thanks for your opinion. This is a real local area, like you wrote. Our guest usually come for businnes or enjoy a spare weekend in a not tourist and not stress too, where you may rent a bicicle and make a tour in Madrid Rio, or visit de museums area. Thanks for all. More

This was a hotel I stayed in when first arriving in Madrid to join a tour. Surprisingly the hotel proved to be a lovely clean and friendly spot to stay in. It is located in a great area of the city and is just near a subway line. Plenty of little market stores to pick up snacks and quite a... More

I stayed here as part of Intrepid Tour. Close to the metro station Legaspi, which will have you at the main square Vodafone Sol in about 10 muutes this hotel has generous sized rooms and very clean bathrooms. Furnishings were outdated by not off putting. Fine if you are touring and not looking for something glamourous. I wouldn't have known... More

Thanks for your opinion. The "slaughter buildings" its a modern art area, with restaurants, a librery, theatre, cinema (documentary), and music hall called "Matadero" (it means slaughter), cause that what it was in the past. They usually organize all kind of activities. You can visit their web page: http://www.mataderomadrid.org/. Thanks for all. More

My cousin and I stayed here for three nights prior to the start of our Intrepid Spain tour. We found our 6th floor room to be reasonably sized and comfortable with windows opening out to the city/suburban view and a decent bathroom. It's a little noisy at night, peaceful and pretty in the morning. Probably true for Madrid in general!... More

This hotel was the first in my Intrepid tour of southern Spain, and it was a horrible introduction. I had paid a lot of extra money to have a single room, but I did not expect that the room would be tiny, tiny, tiny with only the most basic amenities. More importantly, it was directly across the street from a... More

So sorry, we apologize. Its true that your reservation was made for a one of the littlest rooms, the singles. Our situation its not in the city center, but in four metro stops you can arrive to Sol. About the rock concert in Matadero Culture Center, in front of us, they can,t play after half past twelve in any case.... More
