Hotel Gran Legazpi is not in the center of Madrid, but offers clean, affordable and quiet lodging while visiting this amazing city. The rooms are comfortable, and the front desk staff went above and beyond in response to questions and requests. Although not within easy walking distance of many Madrid sights, the Metro is a two minute walk away, and... More

Thanks for send us your opinion. We are so happy read a person calling Madrid Rio like a "hidden gem". We are agree. Not many people out of Madrid know the river way, its not a tourist claim..still. Cheers. More

Not a bad hotel, room I had was on the 6th floor overlooking the main road but reasonably quiet. Room itself was quite small but adequate for the double bed in there though not a lot else. Was a television which was tuned correctly to all channels in itself a rarity. The bathroom was long and thin and quite large... More

Thanks for send us your opinion. In fact, the restaurant its in the same building than the Hotel, just croosing the cafeteria door, beside the front desk, no more than twenty steps. Cheers. More

We stayed in this hotel booked through Amoma.com for 4nights (Oct 3-7). Bedroom is spacious, very clean but thin walls. Location is great! Few cafes nearby. Bus stop to city center(approx. 20mins) right in front of the hotel and across the road on way back. Metro is just approx.3 mins walk, line 3 will take you to Vodafone Sol, Callao and... More

Clean room, bed comfortable. Ensuite with hot water and good pressure. 2 Lifts, breakfast (Extra) available. Wi-fi worked. Staff at front desk efficient but not too friendly. Plenty of restaurants close by.

This is a hotel that is clean, decent and a bit above average. The furnishings and rooms are nice, but the drawback is the front desk staff that are not very friendly & seemed distant & bothered when you ask them a question. The only other issue is that it is bit far from the central entertainment and shopping areas.... More

Thanks for your opinion. We don,t want to lie to our guest, we haven,t got a flamenco show or people playing guitars in the hall at all, if that means a spanish tipical action. And we are so far from the airport, sorry. But the rest its true!!! And so thanks again, Seriously, we are very thankful. More

It was a very convenient location for my event....The Madrid Open tennis masters. It was also a short commute to the town center....Downtown Madrid. Hotel was clean and relatively quite. Train station is a stone throw away. You can get around quite easily. I actually took the train from the airport to Legazpi, and just walked approximately five minutes to... More

Madrid was a birthday treat so we needed a good hotel in a quiet area and close to the city centre. We found this little gem online and were not disappointed. I stayed here one night before a tour. The hotel was adequate. Quite a way out of city, but very close to metro. The walls are quite thin, so I could hear my neighbours conversation (well into the night) and the bed was very hard. The staff were courteous and helpful when recommending a lunch venue.
