Just returned from Pension Corbero, have spent 7 nights there with my wife. The pension is located at the Huertas area in CERVANTES street. The hostal is definetely a good place to stay. The price is quite good and the location is perfect, just a few squares from the main museums of the city. Since it is situated in a small street, there is little noise coming from it. The room is quite confortable and, although Madrid was desperately hot, the air-conditioned worked well....

My daughter (15) and I felt completely safe and comfortable here. Excellent location in central Huertas neighborhood.
