Room had a very odd layout and the ventilation in the bathroom could be better. But other than that, great 3-night stay, the lobby smells amazing, friendly staff with quick check in/out. Decent location very close to Plaza de Sol. We didn't do breakfast there so cannot comment on that. An easy bit of a walk to the bus stop... More

We came to Madrid with friends to explore this wonderful city and wanted a centrally based hotel. The Vincci Centrum ticked all the boxes on every count. Minutes from all the major attractions and fine dining restaurants. Quick and easy check-in by very professional staff. Perfect sized room with all amenities and comfortable bed just what you need after walking... More

on the plus side - nice rooms, central, safe and quiet on the minus side - got bitten by a flea found in the bathrobe, inefficient reception staff and also bit rude - after telling him the reception service is not good I was told - THAT YOUR OPINION.

Very modern hotel in an ideal location. Walking distance to pretty much everywhere. Rooms were good despite all the construction around. Staff was super helpful and breakfast was a plus. Lacking a gym though but would return for sure. So many food options as well, went to AL Natural and loved it

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and it was a great time. We were welcomed by friendly and helpful staff... And a free upgrade! The room was regular size. Nice and cozy. The bed was really comfortable, matrass firm. We had windows on every possible wall , so the room was so light! But the biggest plus was... More

I stayed at this hotel in October for 1 week. My room didn't have a window, so it was very depressing. In the mornings, when you open air condition, very strong smell of food will fill up your room. Wifi was poor also. You should pay for the Wifi with better speed. It was 3 euros for 3 hours as... More

Hotel is in a great location. Close to a metro stop and most sites. Never needed to take the metro (except to and from airport) or Uber. Staff was professional. Didn't have breakfast as it was a bit expensive for what they offered. There were many available options near the hotel. Even a Starbucks. But never sure why anyone would... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in October. The hotel is located in the center, which is great. The breakfast buffet was delicious. But what we appreciated the most was the friendly and helpful staff. We would certainly recommend this hotel.

Staying in Centro

Neighborhood Profile
Centro
Expansive plazas, local and foreign crowds, street performers, colorful lights, window shopping, restaurant signs promising the best paella, ham, and churros con chocolate- this is downtown Madrid, a collection of plazas interconnected by a network of side streets. Some of these side streets are wide pedestrian shopping routes, and some are hidden, so it's possible to duck in and out of the bustle as desired. The iconic Puerta del Sol is the giant crossroads of the city and a must-see attraction at any time of the day. The nearby Plaza Mayor, completely enclosed by historic red buildings, is an ideal place to grab a bite to eat outside, amidst scores of tables and people out for a stroll. Plaza Isabel II (also known as “Opera”) is smaller and a good meeting spot, and the stately Plaza del Oriente is the front yard of the Royal Palace. Centro can be touristy (pickpockets are unfortuately not unheard-of here), crowded, and sometimes gimmicky, but it is also the place to experience classic Madrid.
