The hotel is situated in a great location for exploring Madrid. The metro stop of Sevilla is just round the corner and you are only minutes from Gran Via. You are also within walking distance of the Prado Museum, Reina Sofia, Plaza Mayor, Plaza De Santa Ana, Plaza De Sol and the Royal Palace for those of you feeling energetic!... More

Great location close to puerta del sol, gran via and not too far from parque de retiro/ el prado. The hotel room was clean with air conditioning and a spacious modern design. The hotel's staff was extremely friendly and helpful as well.

The hotel is very central! 5 minutes walk to Puertas del Sol and five minutes walk to Banco de Espanã and metro. The room was very very big and very confortable but the decoration of the hotel hall was terrible. However good for one/two night stay.

Stayed here for a solo trip to Madrid and it was a decent choice. Very convenient for the centre of town and getting about. Rooms are quiet and well appointed, also large enough for me. Service at check in and out was friendly and efficient.

Just got back from an enjoyable stay here. €30 set price from the airport in a taxi, 10 minutes journey time. As we arrived late evening, staff were very friendly and checking in was fast. They recommended two lovely restaurants nearby. Room was very modern and spacious, clean and comfy bed. Wifi very good too. Only picky thing from us... More

Just returned from our stay at the Vincci Centrum and can only say what a great experience. Warm greeting and interaction from reception staff , we had upgraded to the romantic break and were put in a great sized room on the 4th floor. As part of the deal we received a bottle of fizz ( which the hotel upgraded... More

The hotel is very conveniently located near fine restaurants such as Susana, fine shopping, several Modernisme apartment buildings that are not listed as historic monuments, though they are, a fine church with a major altar retable, and the Prado museum and the Thyssen-Bornemisza Collection.

Exterior: the hotel is located in the very city center and close to metro station Sevilla. Also close to Prado Museum and Retiro Park. Interior: the hotel is in a good conditions. We stayed in a room on 8th floor with a large terrace. The room is quite small but nicely and modernly decorated with all necessary amenities provided. Just... More

Vincci Centrum has this nice, cozy vibe about it throughout. The rooms are well spaced out and extremely clean. Room service is prompt and thorough. The location is good, with walking access to the bus and metro. The staff is very courteous and polite and go out of their way to help you. Special shout out to the cute reception... More

Excellent stay, location was perfect for all 'must do's' in Madrid, Front of house staff were very helpful and efficient. Room (706) was big enough for our 4 night stay and well appointed, it only missed a tea making facility. Will recommend and stay again.

Staying in Centro

Neighborhood Profile
Centro
Expansive plazas, local and foreign crowds, street performers, colorful lights, window shopping, restaurant signs promising the best paella, ham, and churros con chocolate- this is downtown Madrid, a collection of plazas interconnected by a network of side streets. Some of these side streets are wide pedestrian shopping routes, and some are hidden, so it's possible to duck in and out of the bustle as desired. The iconic Puerta del Sol is the giant crossroads of the city and a must-see attraction at any time of the day. The nearby Plaza Mayor, completely enclosed by historic red buildings, is an ideal place to grab a bite to eat outside, amidst scores of tables and people out for a stroll. Plaza Isabel II (also known as “Opera”) is smaller and a good meeting spot, and the stately Plaza del Oriente is the front yard of the Royal Palace. Centro can be touristy (pickpockets are unfortuately not unheard-of here), crowded, and sometimes gimmicky, but it is also the place to experience classic Madrid.
