This place was in a good location and the staff was friendly. However, the rooms were not very clean. There were dirty hand-prints all over our walls and a few stains on the comforter. Spent 2 nights in a double room for 50 euros per night. The room had all the facilities I could have wanted from a 3 star hotel, except with a cheaper feel to it. Stayed there 4 nights. The Marlasca is not really a hostel, but more of a hotel, with private bathrooms(small, but very functional). The rooms are very clean and somewhat quaint. Great location for a short simple stay in Madrid, but don't expect anything more than a place to rest your head at night.....and even that can be a bit of an ask.
