A great base for exploring Madrid - close to 2 Metro stations. Friendly helpful reception staff, clean room of good size, comfortable despite February temperature which went down to -7oC one night, good brealfast to start the day. .......there are some disadvantages. The street where the hotel is situated and many of the surrounding streets are frequented by sex workers which some will find off-putting. Having said that it didn't cause us any actual inconvenience and there is a municipal police station 100 yds away which helps you feel more secure at night. Many of the other reviews... More

Alteneo is a 3 star hotel and it's very clean and modern. We asked for a room towards the back of the buidling and got one. We didn't hear a thing or any other guest for the whole stay. It was darker in the room but I preferred that to a room towards the busy front. The location is awesome.... More

We loved the location! In the heart of everything we needed, close to the Metro, shops, bars, etc. We got an amazing room/suite that was kept very clean. The staff were more than helpful and very welcoming. The only downfall would be that the free WiFi signal was quite poor on the 4th floor which made it a bit frustrating.... More
