The location of the hotel (just off Calle Gran Vía) is amazing. You can walk to anywhere central very quickly and easily. The room was small but very clean, with nice hotel-branded toiletries, a mini-bar and room-service menu that made us feel like we were staying somewhere more expensive than 46 euros for a night! The hotel is great value... More

We stayed 3 nights in downtown Madrid at the Hotel Petit Palace Cliper Gran Via. It is about a 10 minute walk to the Puerte del Sol. It is on a street perpendicular to the Gran Via and was fairly quiet. The room is fairly modern and small and the bathroom had a shower, sink and toilet. Our nightly rate... More

I liked everything: the room was very good, the service very hepful and breakfast was what I expected. Its situation makes it easy for us to visit the whole Madrid, including the most famous museums. To go shopping, we couldn't have found nothing better. I am sorry I didn't visit the hotel swimming pool.

The picture shown in the Trip Advisor photo must be of a newly remodeled room, as our two rooms did NOT look like this! This is in a great location, but we had VERY loud disco music until after 1 am- essentially across the street and at our floor level- 4th. The A/C was as if it didn't exist! The... More

The only good thing about this hotel is its location, but there are plenty of other good hotels nearby so this would not be a reason for choosing it. On the website it looks fine, but first impression is very bad - all full of graffiti outside. Our ground floor room had loose floor boards, due to the fact that... More

Located in the middle of two prime metro stations Gran Via and Callao, in a side street from Gran Via (no noise), in-between Puerto del Sol and Gran Via, this particular hotel is a prize to Madrid visitors. Close to everything -- literally 5-10 min walk to several foreign banks, American fast-foods, restaurants showing Flamenco shows and numerous Spanish and... More

I was travelling with two friends and opted for a suite with a double bed and bunk beds in an open annex type area. All the beds are effectively in one room rather than having a doorway to the bunk beds, so no extra privacy. Wish we had gone for two normal rooms. Would be good for families who want... More
