The hotel is walkable to all of the stunning attractions in Madrid or the meteo and is on a bus route. We had a good sized room and bed, clean and quiet. Free wifi was a real help. The staff were extremely helpful, speaking english - they made a restaurant reservation for our arrival. It was a little difficult to... More

Very centrally located 3 stars hotel. Large and clean rooms. Large beds.Free and efficient wifi. Only 1 km to Plaza Mayor and to Plaza del Sol. 100m to the metro station. Fantastic breakfast with a very competitive price. Helpful staff. The café-bistro of the hotel is a real plus. Strongly recommended

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights on a group visit to Madrid. The rooms were of a good standard and very clean. Breakfast was very good and the hotel even laid on an English style cooked breakfast at the request of our group organiser. The bar staff were efficient and friendly and the hotel in general was more... More

Previous reviews have said it all - well located, clean, good value, great breakfast. Plaza Mayor is about a 10 minute walk and the rest of central Madrid is fairly close. I would recommend the area around Plaza Mayor for eating as the places near the hotel are pretty unremarkable.

Well situated in the centre of Madrid, only ten minutes walk from the plaza Mayor and 30 minutes walk from the station. Good sized room with gratis wifi. Excellent buffet breakfast. Bar but no restaurant, understandable as there are enough places within a short walk from restaurant to tapas bar to sushi bar to suit every taste and wallet.

Great location for a citytrip. Close to an area with lots of (good) tapasbars and restaurants. Metro is nearby. Breakfast is a sumptuous buffet! The rooms are, though not specially charming, very clean.

My partner and I had a 3 night stay. The hotel was clean and the rooms spacious. We included breakfast in our package and that was well worth the money, a great way to start your day. The hotel being centrally located to the centre of Madrid was a brilliant base for a short city break. Would have no hesitation... More

Staying in La Latina

Neighborhood Profile
La Latina
La Latina is a charming neighborhood with two unique personalities. At first glance, it’s distinctly old-world, with narrow streets weaving a maze among charming stone buildings in sunny, bright colors like yellow and pink. The other side of La Latina is characterized by a young population and a bohemian vibe, as evidenced by a dynamic and evolving selection of new bars, shops, coworking spaces, and other businesses popping up in the area. In the northern part of the neighborhood, the Cava Alta and Cava Baja streets constitute the tapas center of Madrid, where each age-old restaurant serves up distinctive specialties like huevos rotos and patatas bravas. Locals have come here for generations to while away hours over drinks and tapas with friends. On Sundays and public holidays, the streets to the south of La Latina metro station transform into a giant open-air market full of locals sifting through tent after tent of art, apparel, and antiques. Any day of the week, the intriguing blend of the traditional and the hip make the streets of La Latina worth exploring.
