I travelled to Madrid with my teenage daughter and we always felt safe around the hotel. The breakfast was to a high standard and always plenty to choose from. The rooms were modern and extremely comfortable. The free wifi in the room was a great for my daughter who cannot live without it. The staff were helpful and friendly. In... More

Only a few minutes walk from green metro line station: Puerta De Toledo. Near the station is also Madrids rental bikes that you can use. You can sunbathe at the hotel roof and there is also a small pool to dip in. Its okay if you just want to lie in the sun. The breakfast is well above average and... More

Stayed for 4 nights and could easily have stayed longer. Room was comfortable and clean and the location was just perfect. Metro 2 minutes away and just a few minutes walk to great bars and the popular indoor food market, mercado de San Miguel. Added bonus was the rooftop pool, not very big but good for a dip in the... My partner's hotel reservation fell through at the last minute, so we ended up here with the help of NH Hotels. We were pleasantly surprised! A three-star, this hotel is extremely comfortable and pleasant. The room had good wifi and A/C, was amply sized, and had a cozy bed and good bath. The breakfast buffet was extensive and surprisingly varied.... More

My wife and I recently spent 9 nights at this 3 star hotel (13 to 22 July). We booked it through Travel Republic and paid just over £45 a night for a standard room and breakfast. I must emphasise the point about this being a 3 star hotel. It’s not reasonable to expect huge luxury and high levels of personal... More

This hotel is definitely recommended if you want to be a walk away from the city center. Our room had very nice and modern interior and the airconditioning helped us stand the heath perfectly. Breakfast wasn't that special, but it was good for sure! They had really good coffee. The staff is also very nice.

Hotel Ganivet room rates was quite reasonable when we booked and came. Location wise it was a good 10-15 minute walk to Plaza Mayor and Gran Via and close to Real Basilica de San Francisco and Catedral de la Almudena It is beside a food mall and grocery. Just in front of it is a catholic church. Small food shops... More

Great hotel! Clean, modern and comfortable! Great bathroom facilities! Close to the metro and food places. Equipped with a small pool and cafeteria. We had a great stay! Check-in was a little slow and we had to come back for the info we were chasing. Big buffet breakfast room and free wifi!

Just returned from staying at this hotel for 3 nights... I wasn't expecting much from this hotel being a 3* and being on a tight budget so was very pleasently surprised when we arrived. The hotel isn't right in the centre, but only a short walk (10-15 mins) from Playa Mayor and Grand Vie. There is a metro stop around... More

We stayed here for 3 nights. The room was ok but the wi-fi connection wasn't good. Also, dont expect so much things about breakfast but it is enough to start a day. The personel could be more helpful to the customer. In fact, we felt like there was no worker in hotel.

Staying in La Latina

Neighborhood Profile
La Latina
La Latina is a charming neighborhood with two unique personalities. At first glance, it’s distinctly old-world, with narrow streets weaving a maze among charming stone buildings in sunny, bright colors like yellow and pink. The other side of La Latina is characterized by a young population and a bohemian vibe, as evidenced by a dynamic and evolving selection of new bars, shops, coworking spaces, and other businesses popping up in the area. In the northern part of the neighborhood, the Cava Alta and Cava Baja streets constitute the tapas center of Madrid, where each age-old restaurant serves up distinctive specialties like huevos rotos and patatas bravas. Locals have come here for generations to while away hours over drinks and tapas with friends. On Sundays and public holidays, the streets to the south of La Latina metro station transform into a giant open-air market full of locals sifting through tent after tent of art, apparel, and antiques. Any day of the week, the intriguing blend of the traditional and the hip make the streets of La Latina worth exploring.
