Ganivet is located near the Puerta de Toledo metro stop. It is within walking distance of Corral de la Moreria--a great place for flamenco shows. At very low rates (60 to 80 E each night), it's a GREAT deal. Very well located 2 blocks away from the Metro, 4 blocks away from Plaza Mayor). Very good room and bathroom. Hotel Ganivet was a functional hotel, well placed to see the sights of Madrid. It has a cafe area which we found to be most convienient but the hotel itself is a little characterless. Fine for a couple of days sightseeing. more
