We stayed here for 3 nights. The room was ok but the wi-fi connection wasn't good. Also, dont expect so much things about breakfast but it is enough to start a day. The personel could be more helpful to the customer. In fact, we felt like there was no worker in hotel.

Quite poor to average at best. The "double" room was actually two singles pushed together. No room service of any kind; when I asked to borrow an ironing board, not only did I have to pay a 20 euro deposit (am I going to steal an ironing board!? ) but I was forced to lump it up 5 floors to... This is one of the best Hotels I have stayed in. The rooms are clean and spacey. The service is impeccable. I would recommend this place since it has a great location, stay and service. And Madrid is wonderful.

This deceptively large hotel is well located, within easy walking distance of the city centre. Not on one of the classiest streets, but seems safe and is well located for the Metro, buses and with plenty of taxis passing. The hotel is a good standard 3 star, in my opinion. The rooms are fine, with most facilities supplied, except for... More

We went to Madrid for 2 nights through a local travel agent who chose this hotel. Although a 3 star hotel, it met our needs completely. The room and bathroom were clean and ample for a two night stay. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was just what you need to face a day of touring and being on... More

We stayed here to attend the Madrid Tennis championships. The hotel was very nice and clean and the staff were extremely helpful. The hotel was situated extremely well for transportation and different cafes, shopping and walking. We had a very enjoyable stay and only one small criticism. Whatever disinfectant/cleaner is used, particularly in toilet and passageway areas could be changed as... More

We left this hotel after the second night. The shower had problems with giving cold then hot water. The AC only worked full blast or not at all. Very incomfortable. The reception told us they would have it taken care of. Nothing was resolved, so we deciced to move.

The location and rooms were excellent, but the food was very mediocre, often cold and very uninteresting. The wine was poor and expensive. Having said that, because of the good location I would stay there again, and only book bed and breakfast.

This place has a REAL breakfast! Full and extensive. A much welcomed change after weeks of continental breakfasts. Employees have been gracious and accommodating. Room was clean and well serviced. My one big complaint. .. the thermostat is locked at 22. I had to go to the desk to have them lower the temp to 19 as it was a... More

Staying in La Latina

Neighborhood Profile
La Latina
La Latina is a charming neighborhood with two unique personalities. At first glance, it’s distinctly old-world, with narrow streets weaving a maze among charming stone buildings in sunny, bright colors like yellow and pink. The other side of La Latina is characterized by a young population and a bohemian vibe, as evidenced by a dynamic and evolving selection of new bars, shops, coworking spaces, and other businesses popping up in the area. In the northern part of the neighborhood, the Cava Alta and Cava Baja streets constitute the tapas center of Madrid, where each age-old restaurant serves up distinctive specialties like huevos rotos and patatas bravas. Locals have come here for generations to while away hours over drinks and tapas with friends. On Sundays and public holidays, the streets to the south of La Latina metro station transform into a giant open-air market full of locals sifting through tent after tent of art, apparel, and antiques. Any day of the week, the intriguing blend of the traditional and the hip make the streets of La Latina worth exploring.
