Great hotel. Great location. We were received amidst the riots, and it did not even phase them. Superbe elevator, 007 style. Quiet. Rooms have balconies with views. Superbe restaurants are 2 min walk away. simple room. clean. good shower. hot water no problem. Can't beat the 80$ CAD price we paid for the night. :)

I've stayed 3 nights in this hotel. The room was really comfy even though there were part of the deco that were really cheap. Nevertheless, the room was clean and the staff was more than welcoming and kind. Available whenever you need any info, always smiling and polite, which is more than an asset. Localisation is ideal especially if you're... More

The Petit Palace Ducal Chueca Hotel is located close to Gran Vía. The rooms are very well decorated, kind of small but the important thing here is location. Close to excellent bars and restaurants. The staff is very friendly and the free Wi-Fi is good. The offer I had doesn’t include breakfast so I don’t know about it.

We loved the spacious family room with its comfortable bunk beds. Its location is also very convenient and within walking distance to most places. The only disadvantage is that the hotel is along a busy street and quite noisy over the weekend.

Modern, spacious, well equipped rooms.. Friendly helpful staff. Great location.. What else a guest ask for? I was worried that I made a wrong choice for my first visit to Madrid.. But it was a great choice.. In the middle of the buzz.. In the middle of shopping... In the middle of everything.. I certainly will stay there again.

We arrived quite late and were given a shabby room on the first floor. It had a glass cubicle bath room in the middle of it, the french balcony, which was 5 meters above a very busy and noisy street, had a broken door handle and we had twin beds with uncomfortable pillows instead of the double bed we had... I was surprised with the price I got for this hotel, as it is in a really nice location and was really cheap, and I was expecting to find any issue but not. Everything was great. The only thing is that at night hortaleza street is noisy so it is recommended to have hear plugs for the noise.

O hotel esta situado numa localização perfeita mas acho que o design interior do hotel não seja o apropriado mas de resto acho que o hotel seja bom. The hotel is in a very good location but I think that the inside design isn´t apropriate.Even tho it´s a good hotel.

The location of the hotel is perfect for the Porta Del Sol and the Plaza Mayor, with easy walking down the Gran Via to the Prado or Retiro Park. Staying in Chueca

Neighborhood Profile
Chueca
Chueca is the hip, gay neighborhood of Madrid where many of the streets are narrow and intimate, but where the hustle and bustle and the eclectic storefronts and people give it a distinctly urban feel. The main thoroughfare is Calle Hortaleza and the main square is Plaza Chueca, completely filled with terraza tables serving copas (mixed drinks) during summer. A mixture of trendy and grungy, some of the adult businesses here are explicitly racy in their signage. From the rainbow flags to the signs above the entrances of its many funky bars, to the date spot restaurants, Chueca is a vibrant and colorful place. It's always interesting to explore the different corners of Chueca by day, and by night, the area becomes a major nightlife destination when the clubs open their doors.
