I was in Madrid to visit a trade fair IFEMA. I stayed in this hotel for 4 days. Upon arrival, the receptionist assigned me with a smoker room without asking about my prefrences. the room was at the end of this very large hotel and I had to go back to reception desk to ask for a different room and... more

After that I missed a flight I was put in this hotel for an overnight stay. I thought that it was a fantastic hotel for a night, but I don’t know if it’s any good for going back and forward to Madrid centre. It’s located near the airport. Room – nice and clean but only view to big motor roads... more

I agree with pretty much most of the previous reviews Pros - Cheap prices - Great breakfast buffet with lots of choices - Frequent Shuttle to airport - Very fast and complimentary internet - No bellboys/bell captains Cons - A very large hotel with no sense of style and grandeur - everything is linear, dark and just very 1960s Russia... more

Easyjet cancelled our flight and took us to this hotel for 24 hours. The hotel is absolutely enormous and full of baroque paintings and furniture. It also smelt of incence so extremely unpleasant unless that's your thing. A giant chandelier greets you before the reception desk where extremely helpful staff sorted out rooms and food for us. The food was... more

My daughter and I had to spend one night in Madrid to take our next flight out the following day. We had to wait for 1 1/2 hrs. for the hotel bus!! after calling three times and screaming for service! each time I called, I was told that it would take only 5 more minutes for driver to go pick... more

Only major downside was the location.Shuttle service into the city was too infrequent, although the service to the airport was very good. Would have liked the shuttle to have run later last bus back to the hotel was too early in the evening. In the evening time there was very little to do in the hotel so going into the... more

Big hotel, nice rooms. Central to the airport with a free shuttle running to the terminals. The hotel lies along the motorway, so once you are at the hotel you need a taxi or to take the bus to get anywhere. Unless you want to walk along the road. The bus stop is just outside the hotel, which is helpful.... more

I have stayed at the Auditorium several times, all of which were enforced on me by my employer. I find the hotel depressing: it is situated at the side of a motorway and there is nothing around it apart from industrial buildings. The hotel is massive and impersonal. The staff are OK though, as is breakfast. I can't think of... more

This hotel lists itself as Europe´s largest, and puts itself in Lastminute.com and "Secret Hotel" listings as a "Fantastic 4-star." All these things may be lovely, IF you can FIND the place. It is located on an obscure service road off the A2 motorway. It seems to be engineered for people arriving by bus or airport shuttle in daylight. If... more

Overnighting at this hotel (room 64 block 3) ready for a flight to Canada the next morning. Russian block building was rather souless from outside, but step inside and it was full of clocks and French antiques. Surprising, but I couldn´t understand why the hotel had this theme. The beds were so hard I hardly slept, and had backache for... more
