I stayed here one night. I selected this hotel because it was located near Atocha. In fact you walk out and cross the street toward the Reina Sofia Museo and the hotel is right next door. The next morning early I caught the express bus to the airport. The bus stop is at the same street level at Atocha but... More

I stayed here for one night in December, in transit via Madrid. This hotel is not deluxe and the rooms are not large but it is clean and it is really well located - near the Atocha train station and also some of the sight-seeing attractions such as the El Prado. So, I thought the price was good given the... More

We went on the 3rd-5th October 2014 for a weekend break to Madrid with school. The hotel is approx. 15-20 mins away from Madrid Barajas in car/coach. We checked in to a beautiful hotel, with marble staircases, statues, flowers etc. and the lobby is probably the most stunning/pretty part. The lifts are very old and creek a lot - many... More

The location of this hotel is excellent - we arrived at night and as we got off the airport bus at the Atocha rail station(recommended, 40 mins to city centre, get it right outside the airport terminal, and costs 5 Euros) we saw the illuminated sign for the hotel and walked there in minutes. Staff very helpful, most able to... More

The location and the prices make this hotel a very good choice for short-term stays. You should be aware that rooms are small and there is no soundproofing - I could hear the running water from the room next door at 1am in the night. Some of the rooms have virtually no windows - since they overlook the building next... More

This hotel has a very good location for transport, relatively cheaper meals .It's located on a few meters to Atocha metro station and Railway station. Nice cafes and restaurants are around, Rear rooms are looking to Madrid Music School, Reina Sofia and their square for a nice air space. Prado museum and the botanic park are in a walking distance. And for... More

This Hotel is across the road from the train station, which was ideal for our two day stay before leaving for Seville. The Hotel is old and full of charm. Reception staff are friendly and really helpful. The room is small but big enough for our stay. Small,. but adequate bathroom with toiletries and an interesting shutter window which when... More

I am a frequent traveller because for my work. But all in all, I have never had such an unpleasant experience from any service staff. I was paying for my room when I checked out in the wee hours of the morning where there was essentially no other customers apart from me (so it wasn't crowded at all), I realised... More

In common with other travelers, my wife and I found this hotel ideal for an overnight stay, having arrived by train from Toledo, and prior to a morning flight from Barajas Airport the next day. We were surprised that the hotel only has two stars since we felt that the reception area and the room were worth at least one... More

When we arrived at our hotel to start our holiday, we were greeted with the news that they had no room for us as building works had overrun and they couldn't accommodate us until the next day. However.....they had booked us into the Mediaodia for the night. The Mediodia's advertised prices (450Euros a night) are excessive and I'm not sure... More
