Hotel location is in the city center so it's perfect for city-breaks and the price is reasonable price but don't expect anything more. The interior is renovated recently so it's quite nice. We got the smallest and darkest room (318) next to the service room, despite it was not faced to the street due to the service facilities (washing machine,... More

Very well located, very kind staff, in a busy area of town (not the place if you want pure silence), but great location that is close to all the sights and museums and ideal for night life and going out

Basic place just off Gran Via, friendly staff, twin beds large bathroom. On a solo trip to Madrid this was just right for me, the room was quite large and very clean, but with just the basics, no frills. So ideal for solo travellers or those who want to spend their money on wine and tapas, but perhaps for couples... More

Stayed here for three nights just gone, it's location is just off the gran via slap bang in the heart of everything. You will not have to walk far for anything. The hotel itself was basic but clean enough and pleasant staff no criticism from me, if you don't like lively you are probably in the wrong area it is... More

This place was recommended to us by a friend who lives in Madrid and we were not disappointed. The staff is friendly, rooms are decent and WiFi reception is good throughout the whole building. We could arrange a late checkout (8pm) at a reasonable price. The location is very good. A lot of interesting places, as well as restaurants and... More

Spotlessly clean, cleaned and towels refreshed daily. Very central for shops, bars and restaurants, a great little find in a lively area. Easy walking distance to Puerto del sol and plaza de mayor and much more. Would definitely return.

Staying in Chueca

Neighborhood Profile
Chueca is the hip, gay neighborhood of Madrid where many of the streets are narrow and intimate, but where the hustle and bustle and the eclectic storefronts and people give it a distinctly urban feel. The main thoroughfare is Calle Hortaleza and the main square is Plaza Chueca, completely filled with terraza tables serving copas (mixed drinks) during summer. A mixture of trendy and grungy, some of the adult businesses here are explicitly racy in their signage. From the rainbow flags to the signs above the entrances of its many funky bars, to the date spot restaurants, Chueca is a vibrant and colorful place. It's always interesting to explore the different corners of Chueca by day, and by night, the area becomes a major nightlife destination when the clubs open their doors.
